I'm crying .. seriously "tears streaming down my face" crying. I absolutely loved it. It's one of my favourite videos to this song .. and the best VO one at that .. I'm a real sucker for voice-overs. I'll NEVER tire of this vid - it epitomizes DE and the love Damon has for Elena and his personal journey to truly be who he was meant to be.

I truly love this video. Sometimes I think people forget how tortured Damon is. it's not only Stefan has his demons to deal with. unlike Stefan, Damon does not use it as an excuse for himself for everything, like a broken human, he lets it out bitterly while Stefan is just consumed by it.

Is it weird that I still flinch like something hit my body hard.. whenever I hear Katherine's: "Truth is I've never loved you".... I mean Damon was sooo soo earnestly expressing his feelings to her before she said it.. the blow that her words brought were far worse than a slap! Anyway.... this is a video which demonstrates, that if ANYONE deserves the most honest and dedicated love on TVD, its Damon.... :D ... Awesome Work... ;)

What matters is she met Damon first and had an instant connection with him, at a time when she was happy and headed on a certain path, and then her parents' accident derailed that, but now she's finding herself again, growing up and becoming who she's meant to be. Stelena had to happen in order for Elena and Damon to be brought back together.
