@@chipcrispy The thing is, Marshal Davout, Napoleon's best Marshal was sitting in Paris because Napoleon didn't give him command. He had the potential to win the campaign.

@@chipcrispy Yeah, the 1st of June you are talking about. He was given minister of war rather than command of army. RIP to the Iron Marshal. But can't blame Grouchy either, because he was an excellent cavalry commander. Napoleon shouldn't have given command to Davout though.
