Fun fact: Napoleon is mentioned in the Polish National Anthem! "Bonaparte has given us the example Of how we should prevail."

According to Wikipedia French actor Stéphane Cornicard provided voice-acting for Napoleon Bonaparte in the original English, German, French, and Spanish editions. That man is a legend.

"The ideas that underpin our modern world-meritocracy, equality before the law, property rights, religious toleration, modern secular education, sound finances, and so on-were championed, consolidated, codified and geographically extended by Napoleon. To them he added a rational and efficient local administration, an end to rural banditry, the encouragement of science and the arts, the abolition of feudalism and the greatest codification of laws since the fall of the Roman Empire. @albertorepetto2909
@albertorepetto2909 4 жыл бұрын
@@Ares-wr8ld it wasn't purchased. That page of Wikipedia is generic. The 'possession' of Corsica was ceded to the French to settle the enormous debt that the Republic of Genoa had with France - which was the result of trying to deal with the corsican wars that had been going on for 60 years, plus the costs of the War of austrian Succession. But officially the 'propriety' of the Island remained of Genoa, and, by the treaty, the Republic had the right to reclaim also the possession, by repaying the debt and the interests. But this couldn't happen, since in 1789, right after the revolution, the french parliament approved a unilateral (and illegal) "Act of reunion" that estabilished Corsica as part of France, despite the protests of Genoa. And despite the protests from a part of the population of Corsica, because there were still many people who wanted the independence, and also supporters of Genoa. fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%A9union_de_la_Corse_%C3%A0_la_France

To be honest, the french version, (unfortunately, not here) is the one with the best rythm, and the one that gives the best feeling, plus... well, french suits napoleon better !

@@gamerito100 Well, the accent is different all over france, and a corsican will not sound anything like someone from Lille in the north, or Dijon in burgundy. Sometimes, foreigners even think that it is complletely different languages and not just variations of french (altough, the accent is also the remains of what used to be regional languages) Anyways, have a nice day,

Compagno Brigante Mhhh Ok ? What's your point then ? Napoleon had the french nationality, he spoke french (far better than Italian) his parents had the french nationality and spoke french too. Napoleon loved France, the french people and didn't care about Italia and the Italian (proved by the fact that he annexed the north of Italia and stole lots of thing here) He fought with french weapon, with french commanders, with french soldiers who were trained in french infrastructures with french weapons. He learned in french military schools, he fought for France and always did. The fact that his parents were Italian doesn't matter a SINGLE BIT. So your point is invalid. No matter what you try to prove, Napoleon Bonaparte belongs to french history and only it. And to finish this, like Napoleon said, - wich proves that he belongs to french history - : "Impossible n'est pas français".

After all, he is strict and inspires the seriousness of the situation and the actual character of Napoleon. If you were Russian, you'd know I'm right. And don't talk about German. Because there is a continuous woof woof. The rest of the language is beautiful but not intimidating for this game character. And now those who will climb. I'm talking about a game, not reality.
