Yes, I just wish the reader-aloud of R Steiner would learn the craft before , and practise and make marks where and how to stress and pronounce. With Aspergers , sleeplessness etc, I can't concentrate but get too disturbed and destructed by poor reading. Especially difficult with the loong sentences and deep, demanding spiritual language. I love Flensburger hefte and wish Steiner had written the same things in normnal spiritual language, a bit esier accessible. You are strong and healthy to follow get it. I hope to be.

I have a hard time getting better listening to self help even though I keep doing it when depressed. When I'm feeling well, they help me to get better. When I'm depressed, it makes me feel even worse about myself that I can't keep positive.
@projectterranova2 жыл бұрын
@@taghazoutmoon5031 I've been depressed most my life, I feel you mate. Be proud of yourself for listening to self help books even though you feel worse for not being able to maintain positivity, that's already above and beyond most people who simply capitulate to their depression and play the victim game without attempting anything to improve themselves. Perseverance is one of the keys that will eventually enable you to stay positive most of the time, it's definitely not easy at first but if you keep at it, you will improve. Have compassion and be kind to yourself, we're living in immensely challenging times so it's understandable to have difficulty staying positive. Self help books are important, but it's also imperative to have the fundamentals of a healthy diet as you are what you eat, not just food and liquids but also what you put in your mind and your thoughts. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "Man is what he thinks about all day long." Also exercise and meditation, nothing super elaborate to start, just 10 min of exercise that gets your heart rate up and 10 min of meditation with the practice of letting thoughts come and go through the front and back door of your mind without serving them tea (not dwelling on them or judging them, just letting them come and go). I also recommend journaling. These all profoundly helped me and were my main starting points. Feel free to respond and I'll be happy to help, I'm here for ya. You got this!

@@projectterranova Thanks Nova. What you have written is really soothing. I feel u. I feel better to know that i am not alone. Others too feel the unfairness of this world we are living in. However, what brings depression to many of us is to expect life to be different from what it is. But then, what is is not enough for me. I need a better car, house, more 💰, & therein lies my frustration.

I have found all of these rules in my seeking of living a good, peaceful and productive life in the absence of immediate examples… but to find them all distilled with such precision and clarity is an enormous gift. And timely. The sudden death of my life and business partner on the eve of our marriage two years ago has been a brutal reckoning and last week I succumbed to despair over the terrible decisions I’ve made… I am teetering on the edge of destroying my life and dreams by regrets. This dissemination of all I know to be true and right has saved me from making more bad decisions. Thank you.

I would suggest trying to alter your diet to be as optimal for your health as possible via experimentation, MPH would also observe and state the observations that modern (hu)man eats foods (mentally as well as physically) which lack nutrition for their purposes, borderline poisoning themselves, often times this is also due to socio-cultural conditioning over time, in my own experience high fat and high meat diets are ideal, at least for my own purposes of contemplation and mental, physical and spiritual exercise. Do not put yourself down too much, you've achieved something you did not think you would in a shorter time than you assumed to be true, thus you are stronger and smarter and more courageous than you think yourself to be, and can always surmount the problems you have conceived (to be problems) within yourself, show appreciation for the support and patience your supporters, such as your wife, have shown by standing by you, explain as clearly as possible your state of mind, perceived weaknesses and currently desired ambitions in your own personality, be it not 'snapping' or anything else. Most importantly, keep your head up, you're fine, right?
