Man you know how people say never meet your heros... well visiting this town was like that for me, as Because Of Winn Dixie is one of my favorite movies, and I was so heartbroken to find out this town is a complete dump. Hollywood has a way of filming movies that they keep a tight frame on just what they want you to see and they did an excellent job with this movie, making this town look like such a nice little peaceful town, but in reality it is the biggest dump of a town I've ever been to and I've been to all 50 states. If you go back and watch the movie after you've seen Napoleonville, you can even see in the background where it was a dump way back then during filming as well, but they do such a good job of disguising it. I went all the way out there so excited to make a video of the filming locations, and I wouldn't even get out of the car it was so bad. I spent a week mapping out the filming locations before I went, so at least I was able to recognize them as I drove through, but damn man, what a disaster that place is. Unbelievable. I tagged a few of the locations in your video, 0:29 is the Cajin Corner restaurant, alot of that area can be seen in several scenes especially when they're searching for Winn Dixie when he runs away, if you would have gone straight right after turning at that building, instead of turning left, you would have seen Gertrudes Pet Store on the left on the corner, 5:12 is just a building in the background a couple times when the kids ride their bikes by, and the fence on the right when you turn at that building, can be seen when they are looking for Dixie, at 12:57 the big white house on the left was the library, I believe the mayor actually lives there, which explains why it looks much better than anything else in that town. There are several streets you missed actually, but this is a good video and I appreciate revisiting :)

Surprising poverty figures, the houses look rather good 🤔
