Good work! Must be an amazing feeling to get it running after 3 months of wrenching!

I feel your anxiety! In NJ, when the car that is 1995 model year or older, no inspections... Plus it is every two years on newer stuff, so time allowed to "play". You can be checked for faulty equipment/non-existent (cat converters) equipment on the older vehicles. Glad to see it back on the road...

We just have safety inspections if the car is 25 or older.

Bruuuuh. Yes. It's a good feeling to get things buttoned back up and drive off. My nb2 was down for 5 days and it felt like forever, could only imagine months. Your significant other must hate that thing. Haha Wish I could swing by, but I'm literally just driving through in my mother in laws accent on my way to nw Georgia.

Nice work man! Was the lean issue related to the loss in voltage?
@konradgeorgeson2 жыл бұрын
I didn’t catch if he mentioned it, but it would make sense. Battery voltage was dropping by the time the car was idled up to temp. Fuel pump/fuel pressure was dropping with it
@MrHeisenb3rg2 жыл бұрын
That was my first thought when he said he was having battery issues.
@NappMotorsports2 жыл бұрын
Way late response. Low voltage = not enough dwell on the injectors. So they can’t fire enough fuel and the car runs lean.

So if I buy your turbo manifold I can put on a gt 25 on my accord
@NappMotorsports2 жыл бұрын
I’ve never tested it on an accord. PRL makes one that should fit though.

Not a bad idea but if it’s not oil, it’s water.

Im swapping in a k24z3 in my miata and idk what to use for wiring harness and standalone ecu! What are you running?! Sick build btw!
@NappMotorsports2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I’d use the KPower harness with a Hondata or Haltech ECU

What was the issue with the warm idle
@NappMotorsports2 жыл бұрын
Alternator wasn’t hooked up, so it was losing voltage. Low voltage = not enough dwell on the injectors so they couldn’t spray enough and it leaned out.

Hey mate amazing setup been following you for ages. I have a few questions if it’s ok to see exactly what you used re getting a K24 in one of these cars. I’m in Australia not a lot of options here to buy stuff off the shelf. What’s the best way to contact you? Cheers Joe
