As I have mentioned, I grew up in the Amazon. Our science room was great. We had a caiman lizard in the room (in a cage). It was maybe 2.5 feet long. I don't remember what we fed it. One of the cool things about it was that there were little stubs sticking out of its tail, from where it had been damaged and the tail had started and then aborted the regrowth procedure.
