We sat down with the #President ... not @JoeBiden or @DonaldJTrumpforPresident .. but the leader of the Northern Auto Racing Club known as NARC. With our recent #live #show that included #BrokeJoe discussing some of the dealings throughout the 2024 #SprintCar season .. this included the #California #SprintCarCartel and the #Macedo / #Tarlton group, pushing for #show #points only, after the horrible #crash and #fire with Angelique Bell occurred at Southern Oregon Speedway, which led to the cancelation of the event. In the show, we attempt to dive into who runs #NARC .. and found information - everything from it being owned by Peter Murphy, to it being a #NonProfit, as well as there being a #injured #driver support amount of $15.5k for Bell. BUT - according to #JimAllen #ChatGPT and other sources were completely wrong ... so he joins #theshow to explain it all, and lay out the #answers to several #questions that fans, myself, and even Broke Joe himself may have. All this, ahead of his appearance at #Super #DirtCup at Skagit Speedway.

No fire fighting equipment remaining, end the race period. NARC officials should never ever be questioned about that decision especially when another racer is significantly injured.

Not going to dog pile on NARC... Just saw a nasty fire at my local track Knoxville... recently. But just stumbling around KZbin a bit past two days... I know the sport in inherently dangerous. My dad drove a push truck at Knoxville. Pretty sure I said race, before I ever said mom or dad. Been watching since the late 60's... seen more bad wrecks, more fires, and more fatalities than I care to to even attempt to count. But I am here to say... WHAT THE HELL?!? Seen more bad fires recently (last 2 years) than in the past 10-20 YEARS... Cars are faster... but they aren't lighter. But this makes me kinda look at it like how I might look at some anti vaxxors... long ago defeated diseases, popping up here and there more often than in DECADES... fires are coming back... why? I mean... Doug Wolfgang was my favorite driver ever...his fire... almost made me walk away from the sport. And with this rash of fires... it's made me revisit it again. And waht Doug helped design to potentially fight it. The wolfie valve. I'm not an engineer... but as I understand it, I don't believe (could be COMPLETELY WRONG) had they had that tech in their cars... none of these fires should have been a thing. I guess I've probably, been blissfully unaware that that sort of tech is 100% mandated and universal in all of todays cars. So is this something that's quietly went away??? If so WHY? This entire season has been a bit of an on edge year for me. High Limit... they are running some tracks where I think sprint cars, absolutely should NOT be running. I'm talking since one of the early races... I've told my wife at least 5-6 times or MORE this year alone... somebody is going to DIE this year. Maybe a competitor? Maybe a fan(s)? Some of these catch fences... the rough track surfaces that are just throwing these evil intention edge of out of control race cars all over the track... flirting with disaster. And now the more frequent fires... mutiples in the past 10 days... Has the fuel cells changed? Thinner? Different materials? Not beefing them up as the car speed continually creep up? Again I know nothing is fool proof... but it's just been eye opening, not in a good way. No shade at NARC, but i'm throwing this out at ALL sanctioning bodies. I think EVERY TRAVELING SERIES No matter how large, small, distance traveled etc... should have: A DEDICATED FIRE SAFETY CREW, and Fire truck. It should travel to each event. Don't put this shit on the tracks. If you are going to run sprint cars on a NON sprint car tracks... you cannot expect that track to be prepared for fire of the magnitudes we are seeing recently. I understand that costs money. How much is a drivers life worth? if your series can't support that... maybe you shouldn't be traveling. Maybe you shouldn't run at these non dedicated facilities. Knoxville has a highly trained fire team/safety crew... and more than enough equipment to deal with this. Carsom Macedo's fire last year. Chase Randall recently. Thankfully he had applied "Inferno Armor" to his fire suit EARLIER IN THE DAY... infernoarmor.com/ product made by a sprint car driver... KTJ I honeslty think NARC has a better handle on this than possibly High Limit... some sketchy facilities... I know it's a new national series, running at places that aren't necessarily sprint car facilities etc... I'm old enough... I hope I NEVER see another driver die... or another fire in person... the sport is such a beautiful thing when everything works perfectly... I don't know that I can stomach seeing any more carnage of that magnitude right in front of me. I'm so thankful my wife hasn't shared in those past sickening moments in time... that I'll never be able to unsee. I think she would be done, seeing it once. Dave Bradway Jr. - Danny Young - Harli White - Peter Murphy - Kara Hendrick - Jan Opperman - Doug Wolfgang - Brad Doty - Page Jones - Stan Fox - Rich Vogler - Robbie Stanley - Jason Leffler - Kevin Gobrecht - Greg Hodnett - Jason Johnson - Steve King - Ronald Laney - Justin Owen - Kevin Swindell - Dave Steele - Bill Vukovich III - Kevin Ward Jr. - Keith Hutton - Jim Campbell Jr. - Kramer Williamson - Darryl Dawley - Roger Larson - Dick Stoneking - Burt Sonner - Jay Opperman - Gary Scott - Mark Wilson - Chad McDaniel - Doug Toepper - Roger Schuur - Billy Anderson - Jeff Shepard - Bryan Clauson im probably forgetting some, not intentional...my memory isn't a good as it once was. I was at Knoxville the night Danny Young died in 1995. I was at Oskaloosa the night Keith Hutton died in 2003. Thankfully slightly over 2 decades since I've had to witness trajedy first hand. I don't want to see it on TV either... I hope they get this fire safety figured out and a bit more under control before we lose anyone else...

Faccinto didnt crash when he broke his back, just bottomed out going into the corner in a giant hole everyone was hitting. in qualifying i believe. the track was rough because there was no water truck all day and the track still tried to run the show. horrible track conditions, dusty and potholes everywhere in hot laps. the show got cancelled after qualifying. Promoter pushing a show that shouldnt have happened got Mitchell hurt

I have been waiting NARC on flow for the last couple weeks. Pretty good show. Plus after the Midwest main events are over it’s time for the NARC feature. Works out perfect. Sprint car racing is dangerous. Sometimes no matter how well you plan people get hurt. Just reality.

Obviously the car owners and drivers better take safety into their own hands. Before racing they better make sure that proper fire extinguishers are on site and work. Also safety workers have the proper safety clothing so they can go into a fire if needed. T-shirts and blue jeans do not work. The drivers are risking their life and if the drivers and owners do not take the bull by the horns, then it’s on them.

Safety for the drivers is also safety for the spectators. Racing will never be risk free. It should be as safe as it can be made. Maybe there should be a tag team wrestling match to settle this in the Octogon between Broke Joe with Chaz and Jim Allen's Cartel with the Push Truck Mafia. A more unified penalty system needs to be made. When you are suspended by one association here they just go to another. It is the right leaning land developers that threaten to shut down all of our racing out here in California. Good show Chaz.

So the fire safety issue has been resolved.. we bought some purple fire extinguishers and hand them over to the crew who wear blue jeans and t-shirts at each track we visit now.🤔 As for who's in charge of NARC safety did we get an answer?

We don't need anymore government oversight. There should be a national sprint car regulating board. Hate to say it but just like F1 and Nascar governing bodies.

*ATTENTION* I was oblivious to this incident. Unaware it ever happened until now. Did I miss the boat? Or is this not well known? I'm mortified by the actions of Willy T Ribbs. Talk about negligent. This ranks up there with the Stewart/Ward Jr. incident. Not accident, incident. Come around a corner. See 4 guys pushing a car. Speed up. Hit and injure 2 of them. Know and feel you hit them. Ribbs doesn't stop. But rather gasses it again. Then hits and kills 3rd guy. *WTF?* Willy T. Ribbs kills Jean-Patrick Hein @ Vancouver, 1990. Views - 891 Comments - 1 (mine) Remember, convicted serial date rapist, Bill Cosby, subsidized Ribbs' career. This is horrible. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIDCeWaAh6mlqKM
