I kinda get why Mr Krabs directed his immediate anger at Squidward. SpongeBob is gonna be SpongeBob… but Squidward should *know better.* Not only did he let SpongeBob rope him into his nonsense, he actually escalated it with their interrogation when SpongeBob began to hesitate.
