Love Narciso's line. Think musk would be considered his "signature" note. Also, love the Varvatos line which you mentioned. Like that both lines don't remind you of anything else. Okay with the longevity on both lines as well. Appreciate your vids.

I really like Narciso Rodriguez EDT, despite the criticism that it's dark and depressing. Not to my nose, it works well with my skin chemistry. It's the scent of The Batman or Dracula. Sadly discontinued. Thank goodness I've got a couple of sealed back up bottles.

Hi, thanks for this vid, I've always wanted to buy one of the Bleu Noir fragrances, it is available online but only at some stores, the online prices are much lower than retail. Even if it's now autumn in South Africa we don't have very cold winters, where I live (winter rainfall) the coldest month is July with average temperatures in Fahrenheit a low of 43 and 63 high, hottest month Feb low 61 and high 87. I'd like to know if it is OK to wear a fresher fragrance in winter. Kouros Body was a fragrance I used to wear in winter and got lots of compliments.

Heads up for you... the parfum smells very little like the edt. Smells more like givenchy gentleman edp than narciso rodriguez edt. However... narciso bleu noir parfum is killer! So defo do pick it up! 👍

BLEU NOIR EDT - smells like my childhood pediatrician. He always smelled good. Slightly but not too mature. Sweet in a spicy way. I love it, might be too hot for Texas heat, so indoors n professional maybe only BN EDP - smells citrusy n fresh n musky. My gf says it smells like going out on the town on a nice day or night, getting drinks, etc. I don’t like it though. BN Parfum - smells like Coca Cola to my nose. Then dries down to Coca Cola/chocolatey smoothness. I love this one too. Fall/Winter/early Spring tho. I have CH Men Prive so I dont need another Coca Cola smell but whenever I finally run out, this will be my next purchase. Well done on this line

Yeah I’m eating on my bottle I just ordered. Tested it with a decant and I was impressed after a few wears. Reminds me of a grown up version of CK1 with a masculine touch, spicy, slightly funky (sounds terrible but it’s not) and woody, but fresh and bright overall.

Just recently purchased For Him EDT (actually decided to spray it on about an hour before this video came out lol) and I would say, definitely smell it before purchasing. As a lover of fragrances, I enjoy the ‘wet concrete/pavement’ smell, but it’s definitely more of an artistic scent that isn’t mass-pleasing. A great buy all considered!

You couldn’t be further off on the description of the for him edt… to me is doesn’t even hint at Fahrenheit and I would never describe it as bright or uplifting. It smells like setting wet concrete with some amber sweetness… I wear it on rainy days when I sit in front of a window reading a book.

Just rebought NR for him. It's obvious that Kurkdjian had Fahrenheit in mind when he created it. It's meant as a throwback scent. BTW it's discontinued now, so get it while you can. But only if you like 80s frags :)

I tried the entire scent department the other day looking for a signature fragance and after trying like 80% of them I stumbled upon Bleu Noir Parfum and I had the exact same reaction as you did in the video, and it says a lot when you already know the fragance and still reacted like that, I bought it of course, loved all the NR Bleu Noir line but I fell in love with the Parfum.

Bleu Noir is a strange line. Yhe EDT is a cardamom forward musky blue that reminds me very much of BDC EDP and Cartier Declaration. It’s definitely a darker scent than either and it’s a really solid versatile choice for cooler weather/evenings. The EDP and Parfum have almost nothing in common with the EDT. Both are powdery, but that spicy blue musk is almost nonexistent. The Extreme is closer to the Bleu Noir EDT DNA but leans more toward your shower gel type fragrances like Dylan Blue or D&G K. Definitely worth sampling all of them. Prices are still reasonable for all but the original For Him EDT which is discontinued and prices are skyrocketing.

I just got into the world of cologne and I figured I couldnt go wrong with an everyday scent of Narsico Rodriquez bleu noir EDP after watching some of your vids along with CurlyFragrance. Im looking for something I can wear all throughout the year - so I bought a bottle of NR Bleu Noir EDP. Im also just bought Spicebomb extreme for those late night events. So far im starting with those 2. Any suggestions for my beginning rotation? I feel like an oldschool guy and have been looking at Bleu de Chanel EDP, PDM Layton, Fahrenheit Parfum, and the OG - Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum. Im also really intrigued by Versace Eros EDP for a warmer weather everyday scent. Any suggestions? Much love from America.

Yesterday applied Dior Homme intense and NR Parfum on a blotter. During the day it was almost the same - Iris. NR had a bit fresher scent. Today scent where almost the same. Im affraid that NR would Be worst in paramaters.

​@skarpy24 DHI share the similar Iris note of NRP. However, its much more chocolatey, darker and richer. It also lasts slightly longer on my skin. That being said, NRP is a heavenly as well...the iris is much more fresher and powdery, that transitions between the darker notes and fresher notes mix perfectly making it more likeable than DHI.

For Him EDT was created by Francis Kurdjian. This EDT and the EDP are outstanding, unfortunately really hard to find lately in Europe. The Bleu Noir line is, imho, not as good: basically blatant ripping off Jean-Claude Helena classics (Declaration, Terre). Just my two cents: hunt for the grey bottles, avoid the Bleu Noir disaster…

I feel same opinion about this. We can find The blue lines DNA from Channel, Terre D’Hermes, Encre Noir, Givenchy with touch of musk. The OG edt & edp have uniqueness and we can’t find in any perfume. How about your opinion?
