The EDP is so interesting. When I wear it, my skin smells like a sweet matcha latte. The matcha-like smell is probably from the patchouli with the sweetness from the peach...? But when I smell my skin from a distance, I smell a creamy rose a lot more. Very very interesting. Mabango siya, super. Pero agree ako na depende sa taste ng tao medyo mapapaisip ka kung paano at saan siya susuotin. I think may nagcomment sa Fragrantica na kaamoy daw siya ng mga mayayamang tita na nagsisimba hahaha.

I once wore this perfume sa scarf ko and sakto umuulan the whole day. It felt like a warm, rosy, comforting, hug and di ko na makalimutan yung moment na yun. I'll only wear this pag malamig and maulan

I think for any musky perfumes, stay away from sweating, kasi nagiging animalic, dirty, or B.O talaga siya. Best for them on cold seasons talaga or naka aircon. Anything, basta hindi napapawisan.

Fleur musc and Pure musc mabango kahit pinagpawisan and nasa mainit. I think depende sa body chemistry with the perfume.

I actually prefer the EDP more than the EDT but I almost always layer it with Pure Musc/Fleur Musc. 😄

Hindi ko pa naaamoy personally yung EDT but I used the EDP to a Tagaytay wedding in January and I looove it! It's creamy musky rose and I get compliments wearing this. My husband also loves smelling this. It's an easy wear from day to night event especially in colder weather. Siguro depende lang sa note preference and body chemistry kaya halo yung feels ng mga tao. I agree na mature-leaning nga ito but I'm in my 30's so I'd choose this over fruity ones.

Sure na po ako dati to buy full bottle of EDP pero may nagbigay sakin ng decant and buti na lang di ako bumili kasi di ko sya bet. Amoy matanda po sya for me. Si tried both pero si EDP talaga yung mas bagay sa body chemistry ko. Not at all amoy luma. Quite the opposite actually. I guess depende talaga sa body chemistry.

Kala ko ako lang! "Amoy matanda" talaga yung EDP, lalo na sa initial spray. Pag nagdry down, parang tolerable na sya - amoy mayaman na mabangong mature person. Pero, parang di pangPinas weather yung musk nya. Kahit itrain ko ang nose ko by sniffing it daily, hindi talaga. Huhu.

That's one of my perfume. Gustong gusto ko yan. Yan ung perfume na love at first smell ako e. Rosy na pambabaeng pambabae ang amoy. Never ko inisip na amoy lola siya nung unang naamoy ko. Ayoko sa pabango ung matapang na sakit sa ilong na unang amoy nakakahilo.

I prefer the EDP than the EDT. And no, i disagree that it is amoy matanda or grandma. Actually, another perfume blogger, Andrea recommends the NR EDP for 25 yrs up. I receive a lot of compliments when i'm wearing the NR EDP. And nagtatagal din naman sa skin ko. Sorry to disagree.

No need to apologize. Perfume is depende sa body chemistry. Good for you na mabango siya sayo anytime of the year. I like the EDP but I can’t use it sa summer. Sa tag lamig lang or else, ayun nga. Kaya I always advice to test the perfumes sa skin 30-45mins before buying.

For EDP, I get the old smell but for me it just smells like that on initial spray then it dries down to a creamy musk scent lang. Still testing it but curious about EDT now.

Hi. Please know that I enjoy your informative videos. But may I suggest that you refrain from using “amoy matanda” as you sound that you are insulting the elderly and this is off putting. There are many ways to describe patchouli without implying that “matatanda” population does not smell good. Your remarks sounded rather insulting.

@@NayaRuth thank you for taking this positively. Please know that the intent is good. First of all 40’s is the new 30’s. You have a youthful look and you have your parents to thank for. As regards to the description, you are on the right track when you use the descriptors such as “dirty patchouli”, “smells like the soil”, “amuy lupa”. You may also say “Yung singaw ng lupa after umulan”, or “bagong dilig na (malinis na) lupa sa paso”. These phrases are the closest descriptors of that particular patchouli. Your way of recommending and classifying the perfumes according to age is very good--this is very informative and helpful. Just avoid saying matanda 🙂 instead, you can just stick and refer to older persons as “mature ladies/gentlemen”. My 24 yo daughter is your fan primarily because of your superb skills in applying make up. I really don’t wear make even if I think I need at the age of 53. But perfumes I love.
