In college after I realized my narcissistic friend would constantly try and win over my boyfriend… I decided to tell her I was interested in a different guy. (which was a lie.) She went after him like nobody’s business. At least that kept her out of the way for a while. And I stopped telling her about any of my dates after that. She did other things also that were not what a true friend would do. Needless to say we are no longer friends. Thank you for your video! 🦋

True. You can never get a narcissist not to be jealous of you because their egos are too fragile. And since the narcissist is always going to be jealous of you they will sabotage everything you do. Jealous people secretly disdain you as well and taking all of those traits into account there is no chance for a healthy relationship with those individuals. We have to walk away and leave them alone. Toxic is poisonous and lethal.

I didn't understand why people were being so aggressive or passive aggressive. Meanwhile, these same people would be nice to my brother or parents. My brother told me that they're jealous that I got my masters degree at a school with name recognition. Their behavior bothered me a great deal...but it took me some time to figure out that these people will never be nice to me again. Like Rebecca says, it is best to move on and set boundaries with these people. Don't let them hold you back.

He couldn't stand the fact that for the first time in his life, he wasn't the centre of attention, and uitimately, and I firmly believe this, after years of being the "alpha", the leader, the "big man on campus", he was afraid of either losing his self-imposed spot, or losing me - ultimately, he ended up losing both....

I recently left a job of nearly 5 years due to both male and female narcissist. One female imparticular wormed her way into management's good graces. And then started a smear campaign fighting for my position and responsibilities. Despite the fact that she had no proper training or basic people skills. I realized my health and well being was more important than fighting to prove my relevancy any longer. Management would always side with her and in the end gave her exactly what she wanted. However I know that she will never be happy and that things will no doubt crash because of her mean and jealous spirit. A narcissist's accusations are always confessions. They mirror what they are doing to you to: 1. Put you on your defense and you'll be too busy tryna prove that youre not cheating, whole time theyve been doing it to you. 2. To feel better about themselves while avoiding shame and guilt cause he's convincing himself that you're probably doing the same so it should make it okay. I never imagined a man would be jealous of his wife. He has all the opportunities and control he wants and also does things that people say “he’s jealous “. I didn’t get it until I understood the core of that narcissist is still that 3 year old who looks at you feeling things he can’t. I was shocked to realize I had married a man who can’t laugh, cry, sing smile. He can frown. So I moved on

My last job the general manager was jealous of all compliments and tips I would get from guests. We would have huddles that were nothing but gaslighting where we would always be told "if you don't like your job you can leave now" after a rant because the compliments weren't coming to them. But they're management 🤷🏾‍♀️.

My ex was a narcissist. He always made my achievements were nothing and the fact I was doing good in college was nothing. He always needed attention and if I was getting it more he would become distance and then start a fight so he can accuse me of being jealous or not making him important. Over 4 years, he broke up with me 3 times and it was as if he found a reason to do it. I didn't make enough money, my home life caused him issues since it involved him since we were dating. And he always started drama but would say he hated drama to the point he said I had too much drama and he didn't want that in his life. This last break up was due to me breaking his rules and he not only dumped me thru texting, he also blocked me.

Well, this explains why those two women who used to bully me as children, all the way back in elementary, are still fixated on me today as adults. They are sad and pathetic narcissists. Whenever I run into one of them out in public, they act like they are still ten; rude comments, sneering and trying to intimidate me via staring. I suppose I should just be flattered, I live rent free in their heads but they were long ago evicted from mine.

I have a sibling who has the same trait as our father. A complete Dr Jekel & Mr Hyde. Several months ago, I handed my sibling a copy of a letter that our father wrote. The sibling had accused me for a long time for something that I had allegedly done, but had I nothing to do with, as I knew I was completely innocent. After the sibling had read the letter, the accusations have now ceased, but no apology no nothing. Recently, I started to compile a list of all the bad things that was done to me over the years, and I feel like letting the sibling know, that I know, why this has happened to me, over the years. By watching the KZbin videos on this subject, it has been tremendous and wonderful to learn about Narcissism.

Thank you, Rebecca. I escaped a narcissist, and I’m doing better than ever. I love your videos. My ex was very jealous of me. She enjoyed it when I wasn’t doing quite so well. What are the things that she would say to me a lot was that she was better than me and that I didn’t deserve her even though I paid for everything did everything for her. And you want to talk about entitled? One time I was driving my car and driving her to a show and she was demanding that I buy her a piano, not asking demanding. She was borderline personality disorder, along with narcissistic personality disorder. It’s sad, because as an empath, I want so much for her to be OK and to be healthy and I know she had a horrible childhood and a horrible experience with her father. I know she wants to have a kid really bad and I used to pray that she’d have one but now I know that would be horrible for the kid to have a narcissistic mom. It’s a really sad thing narcissism because they will never get help because there’s certain they’re better than everybody. So it’s a black hole to nowhere. I’m a singer songwriter and I’ve been doing that all my life for a living and I have a really cool song coming out called the narcissist and I want to share with you when it comes out. Hopefully it can help people. God bless you and what you do

My own mother did this to me my entire life, starting in my childhood...telling all of my friends' parents vicious lies about me, so I was effectively a "loner" growing up, but it wasn't by choice. She continued into my college years with nasty, clandestine phone calls and letters to my fraternity...then when they asked me to leave, I'd be taken completely by surprise, not knowing at the time just WHO my various roommates were basing their decisions on. Eventually, she destroyed my first marriage because I kept going back, I kept allowing her back into my life. She died last May; I had gone "no contact" for the last 16 years of her miserable life; I did not attend her funeral, and I refused any part of her estate....when I finally said that I wanted NOTHING from her, I meant it....and I am A-OK with my decisions, and I will be for the rest of my life!

My narc older sister raved about what a terrific mother I was, caring for and raising the girls alone single handedly. All the while she was devaluing me, making up stories meant to create rifts between us, refusing to help in emergencies, and communicating with my X, their neglectful selfish deadbeat father. She was always jealous, and I now stand accused of horrible unspeakable events that never happened. Parental alienators are not always a parent.

I was married very young to a narcissist... didn’t even know the word existed back in 1978. got divorced in 1986 and Stayed single 19 years and married another narcissist. Now that I finally got away from my second ex-husband, and I take care of my 95-year-old mother, I realized I married my mother twice.🤦🏼‍♀️ listening to your information videos has helped me immensely! I finally understand why I always wanted to please my mother as a child. She checks all the boxes that you just talked about. Thank you for your information messages. I ran into an old friend yesterday. And we both started comparing notes. She is divorced twice. She is the only one that I have talked to that understands the personality of narcissists. She and I both confirmed to each other that we pick the wrong men. Her dad was a narcissist as is my mom. my mom has been jealous of me all of my life. She plays down my accomplishments, and I had to almost beg her to come stay with me after I had a bilateral mastectomy. I was listening to another psychologist, and she said that narcissist hate sick people. they don’t like to be around them. My mom is exactly like that 💔 she is so negative and is getting worse as she gets older. she seems like she’s miserable all the time, and unfortunately will never be able to heal from her childhood trauma. Because she is a narcissist and she doesn’t think there is anything wrong with her.

I am currently co-parenting with a narcissist and the most current jealousy I'm dealing with is over the fact that I am single and happy. He has recently started seeing someone, but has still been trying to convince me that our family is what he wants. I made it very clear that I don't want the same thing, set boundaries, and only speak to him about our children's needs. There is a lot of passive aggressive behavior and he will randomly bring up how I do not like his girlfriend. I do not know her. I have no issues with her. I don't even respond anymore...

Shadow work, do and say the opposite to pull you out of character. They go through your dwelling to find out things about you. And then force the repeat. They breadcrumb . One of my favorites. Use something your in need of, not a want, a need . They attach 20 negatives to that positive to keep harming the victim. How about gaslighting ? Use of a team to send mix directions. How about one person in charge says, no one on their phones at work. Then send in 12 that are always on their phone and management does nothing about it. They write people up for doing the right thing. Let the ones doing horrible to squeeze by. How about shadowing? Or mimicking? Those are great tactics too. Not narcissistic people. Tactics used by a control group. The group has to be controlled in order for this to work. Manipulate and lie. Narcissist are one percent of the population. They have perfored control tactics that resemble narcissistic traits but not the scientific diagnosis. It's so they can control the desired outcome. Mostly metal snd physical exhaustion . Til they collapse. Targeting people who they deem a threat or worse...someone they don't like. It also takes many to accomplish this. Teams of people group together to force w repeat. If you don't go along or catch on to what they are doing? They get rid of you.

I think jealous behavior in the form of passive aggressiveness is the most insidious…… it shows up like : leaving you out, ignoring your text or your call, Not talking to you at family events, telling everybody else something but not you , giving you a backhanded compliment for instance, ‘ I never expected you to be the last person to get engaged in the family….. The point is to make you feel bad in someway, but still maintain their reputation as a good person… I gave these family members so many excuses oh they must be depressed or they’re tired or they’re worried about something else, etc. etc. etc. nope, no more excuses they were just plain jealous….
