I hope this feedback gets to the editor: maybe it's me but this "engagement" editing for long form podcast content just distracts from the story and doesn't keep me engage at all. The whole audience of connect are used to long form stories where Johnny sits and talks - this random zooms and sideway zooms just distract imo. but hey, reality is the best feedback, you will see if you have higher watchrate or not - and if not you can save time editing with viewer zooms. Just some feedback from a viewer! Keep the content coming guys!

The problem is not the prescriptions it is it the failed policy of prohibition which has been a failure for 109 years since it was first introduced via the Harrison Narcotics Act of 1914. The Harrison Narcotics Act is what required a prescription to get products that were sold over the counter for centuries until the US federal government arrogantly introduced the Harrison act. Coincidentally one year before the Harrison act’s passage the Federal Reserve was created in 1913. The US should have set up manufacturing in Mexico, Central & South America 50 years ago. Unfortunately the federal government had to have their bullshit war on drugs. The U.S. insisted on giving all of that trade to China instead of keeping all of our economic trade in the western hemisphere. Trading with countries in our own hemisphere would of been way better for national security. But instead of keeping trade within the western hemisphere they put all of their eggs in one basket with China which is a communist country way over on the other side of the world. Anyone with more than a first grade education would of known that China would be smiling in our face while simultaneously stabbing America in the back. We could’ve sent all of our manufacturing to Central and South America 50 years ago and been a lot better off because there is rail as well as the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean to ship goods up to North America. With China there is only the ocean and it’s only coming on one side, which is the West Coast this creates choke points which became painfully evident during Covid. If the manufacturing had gone to Mexico central & South America there would of been multiple avenues to get goods to America. But no we just couldn’t do that because The Controlled Substances Act aka The War on Drugs aka Prohibition was more important than our national security. After 109 years of a failed policy, I think it’s time to Repeal The Controlled Substances Act aka The War on Drugs & Transition out of our dependence on manufacturing through Communist China. When this is done it will immediately begin to stabilize Mexico, Central America & South America by taking away the source of their corruption which is caused by the northern drug flow created by the U.S.’s intoxicating substance prohibition. It’s time we started building up our own hemisphere so that we can achieve true national security. This will not be possible if we continue to do trade with China. By trading with China we are funding the very government that is trying to bring down the US. The controlled substances act, a.k.a. the war on drugs a.k.a. prohibition has been massive failure. This failed policy has given China a vessel to clandestinely attack our economy as well as our way of life. #Repeal The Controlled Substances Act

@@pupupipi9887 lmao. If u think for 1 second that American Johnny Mitchell was in columbia or mexico or even Arizona for that matter and was doing or involved in anything with mayo / mustard, pickles or lettuce you haven't watched nat geo or cought articles online about them cartels guys. Johnny Mitchell is a flat out lier who reads about situations and then ads himself as a character into the story he just read adds enough danger to sound good and tells them online. He took some of 1st videos down that has him saying flat out he was never into cocaine and never sold it. It wasn't his game only weed was when the views went up and gained traction he ran out of legit content of his lame story and starts in with this cartel and cocaine and trafficking title tags and they got more views and he dove in head 1st with these stories of cocaine and shit right from situation he read about and stitched himself in. You dont think them cartel bosses would have kidnapped him for ransom at the bare minimum? Or Cut his head off and sent it to his mother? The second he would have started talking about 1 gram of cocaine he would have been took and gor his mother to pay what ever she could then killed him. In Columbia, Mexico or even deep US boarding States they would kidnap him for 40 bucks. Forget all this Columbia and cartel shit its a story. If u know Anything about cartels or cocaine heavy weights they dont deal with white people. They literally would have cut his head off 20 mins after the 1st sight of him

@@stevemill8959 look at what Switzerland did with heroin legalisation. The addicts lives improved over night. Thing is when people get it legally the black market reduces dramatically and they can't get it when ever they want but are put on stable doses. This happened in Switzerland when they legalised it. That's a very knee jerk reaction - all will be zombies. If you do some research you find this is a common fear ,at least with legalising opiates, however the reality is in practice that this doesn't happen. Also an opiate is an opiate they all work pretty much the same so they would opt for heroin or morphine over fentanyl.Thing is legalisation by all metrics favours society and the addict compared to keeping it illegal. It's win win.

the problem isn't mexico it is the US insatiable appetite for drugs and drugs basically already won the war, it is a social worker problem not a policing problem and the solution starts at home but there is no political will to make any progress on it - too easy to ignore like so many other problems - we get what we get as a consequence; things are getting more liberal and along with that more political will to address issues but that is just the long term trend for immediate and near term it is status quo

I love your content 😊 Maybe because I like rebels. Sometimes I hope they can unite under a banner of freedom and make positive changes in the world. Maybe that's crazy, but maybe not.

Every freedom fighter ever, when gets into power turns into tyrant or bureaucrat. That's human nature, even the highest church leaders turn into corrupted sinners. Power corrupts humans because we are just extremely intelligent chimpanzees, with strong self-preserving instinct and EGO.

The Torres are still around and with el mayo. The banner was put up by Beltran Leyva. They have power just like mayo. Chapo and mayo are partners lol and would make decisions together. They always ran their own factions. He left the business to Ivan not damasos. Damsons tried flipping on los Chapos and they got ran out. Chapos are in Slrc, Mexicali and TJ. The fight was between certain crews that had beef with one another. Gios(mayos) vs cazadores(Chapos) sonora ended in peace treaty Chapos won and rusos vs Salazar(Chapos) in Mexicali and slrc ongoing. The milk company was only to launder money. He doesn’t want to say anything bad about mayo. That bust with the mayo pic were in mayos side of Culiacan. Caf vs cds vs cjng in TJ.

I went to playa del Carmen during Covid. Bought coke and ended up sitting down with 18 yr old kid with a giant gold chain in what looked like a gutted 5 start hotel. We ended up talking for like an hour, he was part of the Sinaloa cartel, good kid.

Luis Chaparro thanks for all you journalistic work on Cartel Crime! Let's get more stories on the child exploitation and traffic side of their business, you will forever be a heroe for breaking those 'Hidden War's stories! Even more than all the popularity that you've gained thus far from content that in a way glorifies cartels.

My girlfriend lives in Tamaulipas and I visited her last summer for the first time. Can confirm that the Northeast is going crazy. Jalisco is trying to push out the remainder of the Los Zetas. I will not be visiting this summer because I think this is going to be a fighting summer in that area. They are have already blocked roads and have assaulted towns. The thugs have followed my girlfriend and her mom on the highway, and in certain villages in the countryside they have "crows' watching every car that drives through the village and reports back to the higher ups. Can confirm that also, certain areas have the military patrolling them, but they have been infiltrated by cartel to a degree as well. I was pulled to the side during a military check point and was questioned. Crazy for a gringo for sure lol. Beautiful area with tons of history and places to visit, but you definitely need to keep your head down if you're from the US. Don't look for trouble. Try to have some sort of weapon on you too, Just in case.

Wait what?? You have to have an ID to buy a SIM card in Mexico!? This needs more explanation because I have walked into multiple tiendas and OXXOs and bought a SIM card no ID required.
