Narcoossee's Reopening Day Review 2023 | Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa | Walt Disney World

Narcoossee's is a reservation that's consistently eluded us. This restaurant is situated right on Seven Seas Lagoon at Walt Disney World's flagship resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Offering up picturesque views of Cinderella's Castle, Nighttime Fireworks Spectaculars, and each of the Magic Kingdom resorts, Narcoossee's focuses primarily on Seafood with an emphasis on fine dining. This is the first restaurant in Grand Floridian's line up that's undergone refurbishments to match what will be the new look of this resort. During this time, Disney brought on veteran Chef, Noah Estabrook, to curate a fresh take on Narcoossee's classic menu. Chef Noah is known for his experience working at Citricos and Walt Disney World's priciest restaurant, Victoria & Albert's.
We were lucky enough to grab a reservation on reopening day for Narcoossee's. Being one of the first guests to dine here after their refurbishment, we had the opportunity to try out some of their new dishes and some classic menu items. We also go over the new aesthetic and how the décor places emphasis on Narcoossee's, Land to Sea theme. **** Please note a correction- I was wrong about the sauce on the side of the Beef and Ricotta Tortelloni, it was complemented by brown butter & silky parsnip puree. The ricotta was on the inside, but I didn't taste as much- as I'm used to a thicker consistency. ****

The food looked delicious, but the desserts looked amazing. I have never heard of this restaurant. Great video! Just a side note, but it's great how consistent you are with posting. No one else I watch gives the days and time their new videos will be out. That is really smart on your part. Love this channel.

Thanks so much! We put a lot into making sure we keep the schedule and it really means so much knowing people see that. Honestly, Narcoossee's wasn't on our "must dine at" list until we heard it was reopening and now we're kicking ourselves for missing out for so long 😆. The desserts were incredible and the ocean charcuterie board literally blew my mind.

Hey from the South Carolina Coast. Just found your channel and subbed. We also are Disney foodies. We have been going down to Disney and staying at the Grand Floridian 2-3 times a year for the last 25 years. Narcoossee's is our fave restaurant in Disney ( Vic and Als ain't bad either ha ). We always eat at Narcoosse's the first night we get there and the last night we are there. We are coming down in Oct so we will have to check out the new decor and food. Over the years you meet people. A huge shout out to Sergio the lead bartender ! Over the years we have sat at the bar after dinner more times then I want to admit and Sergio is the best. I think he has been there for over 20 years...

Dragons on the lights, you say? Seems I might not have been giving the Grand Floridian a fair shake, after all! 😆I'm not a huge seafood fan either, so fabled restaurants like Narcoossee's and the Boathouse aren't as alluring to me as other restaurants on Disney property. That being said, the ambience of this restaurant and presentation of the food genuinely make me want to give it a try! The staff clearly care about the integrity and enjoyment of the dining experience. Y'all had the perfect seat and ideal lighting for a proper food review, too! Sam's tortelloni looked delicious, but that rib-eye chop looked AMAZING. Ditto with Jay's Blackened Redfish; had that plate come down in front of me, I would have gobbled the whole thing up before even realizing that it was fish. It legitimately looked like well-cooked pork, with sauce and garnish! 100% agree on the Peter Pan vs. Elsa desserts. I'm an Elsa stan myself, so you have to know that's the direction I'd go! Sad to say, Jay is correct - the only way to eat a work of art is to destroy the work of art. That's why the camera always eats first. 😃😆 Great video, guys!

Great saying! You know when you see Gargoyles and Dragons you're in for a fancy feast or you may be in The Wizarding World. Both Boathouse and Narcoossee's have plenty of options outside seafood that are incredible. Boathouse is Sam and I's favorite Springs restaurant. Sam not being a seafod fan loves Boathouse's Filet Mignon Sliders and Shoe string fries. You guys have to visit one day! Everything was work of art and agree we had the perfect spot. I love narcoosees We ate there for my birthday back in 21. It was so good even though I don’t think either one of us got seafood lol Jays shirt is on point as always. Samantha glows in that environment. Those beachy tones suit you very well. We had their mushroom risotto at our wedding, and it was one of my favorite things I’ve ever put in my mouth. That’s seafood charcuterie board looks so good. Also, Victoria and Alberts is a goal of ours so one day the four of us will all go

Honestly, even the non-seafood options were really impressive. Wish we took your advice and ate here sooner! Sounds like a stellar birthday 😃. Sam was definitely vibing and in her element here. Mushroom Risotto was 🔥 too. Seafood Charcuterie was, to me, the highlight. High quality and unique. One of the best things I've ever eaten. Victoria and Albert's sounds like a future date 😃. Yes! It's been years since I last had it but from what I was told their chef specialized in cheesecake. I used to order a whole cake from them for my birthday 😆 and I lived right near there for years. If they haven't changed the recipe I definitely recommend trying it out! My two favorite cheesecakes of all time are Coram Diner's and Musso & Frank's in LA.
