Cradle is absolutely brilliant. I was put off by the "look" and vampire scene bs, but I was stupid for judging prior to listening. I bought my first CRADLE cd a year ago and cant stop listening to them since!

I believe I can stand up for what I think as long as everybody else here's doing the same. And I was trying to point out the two main reason why people are hating the band so vigorous not to put labels or persuade you to like them. I learnt English, got into literature just because of my love of Cradle of Filth. That`s why`s so hard for me to understand how so many people loathe them.

This is where it comes to light you and I have very separate philosophies. I find the most satisfying thing is to not associate with each other, as it avoids unnecessary conflict and distraction. We can both exist apart from each other, enjoying our respective world views and circumventing nonsense from the other. hello Kommrade I too enjoy Cradle of Cold Turnips, my favourite rock and or rollski player is also Dani Turnips like yours is! In Soviet Russia we Listen to Cradle of Dead Turnips while we feed our offspring nice stone cold trunips so they are big and strong like Russian turnips. I am also glad Cradle of Russian Turnips decides to name themselves after good strong Russian Turnips, all other turnips are inferior to Russian turnips except of course, for Dani Turnips from the band Cradle of Diseased Turnips. I once showed up to a Basket of Rotten Turnips concert with a casket of boiled turnips and Dani ate my turnips, it was a great day to be a Baking in the Blood of Turnips fan.

@SkunkyAngry Wrong. A comparison of Motorhead and CoF can't work here. Cradle of Filth does not fit into the black metal genre. You'd have to look for stuff like Mayhem, Gorgoroth, Immortal, Dimmu Borgir for that. Cradle of Filth has a few elements of black metal in it (like the asthetics), but it is more close to gothic metal. Therefore, when Dani says that he'd rather not put his band into a specific category, he's doing the right choice. Extreme metal englobes all these genres, and it works.
