Many Kenyans think the problem in Kenya is lack of brains to invest and improve this country. The issue is that we keep electing useless leaders who eat from the sources and particularly parastatals which should be making production cheaper and producing income for this country.

2:27 I hear Sierra Leone has the best quality iron ore reserves in the world. And in volume coming 3rd only behind Brazil (2nd) and Australia (1st). You would've done wonders had your steel production factory been established there. But thank goodness we have our own iron ore in Voi. Keep exploiting it before China or others hear about it! That day when we'll starting consuming 100% locally manufactured steel and exporting the surplus instead of importing from China is when we'll be have started transitioning into an upper middle class economy. Energy and Steel are the backbone of industrialization.
@TheTororist Жыл бұрын
only 26% of sierra leone has electricity cover. copared to over 80% in kenya. distribution is poor, blackouts are frequent (worse than nigeria) and capacity is laughable for a steel industry. they produce less than 100mw for the whole country. one steel factory will take up its entire production and leave the population in the dark. for now they can only export ore, they cannot process it.
