Narex Chisel Set Under $42 - DIY Chisel Handles!

It comes with brass ferrules, and with a reasonably sharp edge. For the price, I think these are really good. In this video, I show you how to turn your own handles for the Narex chisel set. It involves a few steps, but the most important part is creating a template.

Yes I bought the Stanley because the unhandled six chisels set was unavailable at the time. When it came back in stock I couldn’t resist so now I have more chisels than I need.

Careful with the Iroka: It's a beautiful wood but I was advised by my supplier that the dust may be carcinogenic when machining it (I bought a load rough sawn for some garden furniture and thicknessed and finished it myself)

Iroka yes nasty stuff even small exposures once people develope a sensitivity to can bring respritory distress. The owner of the mill I worked at woukd purposely not come to work the days it was being sawn.

Beautiful work, funny thing is that I live in the same country as Narex is in, and I cannot buy these blanks. I see a few youtubers using narex tools and i can get most of them, but some types (mainly blades with imperial measurements) are not even sold here.
