Thank you for the great video! I have a choice of flying out from either Narita or Haneda on the next trip and decided to do Narita and spend a day there after watching your video!

We lived in Hong Kong for five years and visited many temples throughout Asia. The Narita temple was by far my favorite.

Thanks for this, I only discovered Narita by accident and am delighted that I did, so now I’m going to surprise the people I’m travelling with and visit on our last day. Your video is very informative as I’m scared of getting lost, so thanks again. 😊

And it's only 15 minutes from the airport. Such a cool town to explore.

The little kids at the end were adorable!! Also loved the turtles and the coffee art. I can’t believe you ate the mysterious organ in your soup! The eel looked tasty!!

We love that you notice all the little details ❤️ Let's not talk about that little organ in the soup. Let's just pretend it never happened 😂 And those kids! They were the best. ❤️

Lol deal! My mom sent me the Thai spiced salt from San Juan sea salts. I’m guessing you had a hand in that one? It’s spicy!!

@@wendydyer112 yes, that Thai blend is really spicy! Sometimes I add a bit to rice water while the rice is cooking. Or I just put in on top of homemade bagels. I have to eat it in moderation cuz it gets so hot in my mouth!
I loved it! Nice job getting off the beaten track and taking the back streets, totally awesome. Also really enjoyed the realness, makes me feel like I could have been there with you guys. Being a sweets lover I also really liked the matcha gelato and mango chiffon cake scenes. Nice work and thanks for sharing!😃

Thanks Jon! Have you been through Narita? I can totally imagine you spending hours in the temple gardens (since you're such a fan of the Portland gardens). We just bought tickets to return to Japan next fall. Fingers crossed!

Damn you guys managed to miss the best unagi restaurant in that area 😂

😆 That does not surprise us! We basically just stopped at the first unagi restaurant we found. Which one do you recommend?
