Im wondering why these games still have so many female winners, when by puberty boys physical strenght start to increase to go over girls strenght giving them advantage in game like the Hunger Games and boys have better fight iq and their minds are more built on how to fight compared girls minds and in hand to hand combat boys would have bigger advantage, when boys hand strenght is much stronger, than girls hand strenght is. Still according to these stories girls be also killing here mecelessly, while in our world many of our girls are emotional vegans, that would never want to part take in killing somebody.

You could definitely see Glimmer trying to follow her example, to some extent. Being flirty with Cato to get him to drop his guard around her. Presumably so she could slit his throat with ease later, when the time was right. She ignored Marvel though, so he was probably aware of her strategy being from the same district. And fine with it as long as she didn't try it on him. I think she was also the one who tried to sneak a poison ring into the games? Manipulation and sneakiness was her game.

Quick correction at 18:54 The snakes didn't attack Lucy because Coriolanus (her mentor or future President Snow) had put a handkerchief that Lucy had used into the box of snakes before they were released into the arena. I'm so happy you've done this. I'm up to date with the series and I was going to re-watch the older videos to revisit the tributes from earlier games. And just as I was about to do this I notice a narrated video. perfect. I love how the games in this universe evolve. From the basic Old Amphitheatre to the amazing arenas in later games. And I like how the stories get longer and more complex as they go. I'm really looking forward to the post 75 games. Thank you for all the hard work you put into these. I can imaging the time and work it takes. My basic videos take me hours to edit and save etc, and my stuff is just vlogs. The work and time put into these videos is amazing. Edit: Also I remembered there was a tribute called Lyka. I'd kind of forgotten about that. XD

It was kinda like a first attempt at the games. If the 10th games were normal this arena might have been used for all the games.

In any game before the 10th Games, there’s no way any tributes could have run into the tunnels. It is stated on Capitol TV with Lucky during the 10th Games that in previous years the area opened to the tributes were only the Stands and Open Field. It wasn’t until the bombing before the 10th games had began that opened any and all tunnels, openings and crevices for tributes to hide in.

The victor of the 20th hunger games being 14 doesn‘t add up with haymitch saying that finnik was the youngest tribute to ever win the games at 14
@christianblanco10 ай бұрын
There could be several victors who were 14, with one being the youngest of them all.

1st: I PRAY for a sequel (and possibly a trilogy) to Coriolanus’s story!!! 2: If that were in the makings… i hope Suzanne Collins has seen these particular set of videos herself and be inspired to make some, if not all, of it canon🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Best wishes!!! Love these videos☺️

Fun Hypothermia Fact: Hypothermia is more likely to happen to men than women
@christianblanco3 жыл бұрын
I did not know this! Do you know why this is? :)
@artemisofthemoonandhunt14863 жыл бұрын
I found some rather involved articles, but in general women are at a disadvantage in the cold due to smaller size and get cold faster. However, women's blood vessels constrict faster and sooner than men's, directing heat to the core (but numbing extremities faster.) Women shiver less and typically have a higher fat to muscle ratio, perhaps this allows a women to shiver longer. It's when shivering stops that full hyperthermia sets in as the body attempts to get moving as a last ditch effort to survive, opening up constricted blood vessels and cooling the core faster. This is why victims of hyperthermia are often found having removed layers of clothing/blankets. They feel hot.

Ok, so It wasn't the singing that stopped the snakes from attacking Lucy, but the handkerchief that Coriolanus (her mentor) had given to the snakes with her smell on it. Since her smell was not on it, the mutt snakes did not attack Lucy.
