You know the funny thing? I was a manager for a construction company and I was shadowing some of my workers. They panicked when I found them having fun with the equipment, so I told them: As long as nothing breaks as a result, and you do your job, have fun however you want I don't mind. My workers, LOVED me, and to this day I am still friends with all of them and their families, even after I quit five years ago. And some of the stuff they did with the equipment was hilarious, I still remember all of it! You NEED to have some fun with your work, or else it will only feel like work, and you'll start to hate it. Since the higher-ups only cared about results, I made it very simple for everyone under me; Do your work and you can have as much fun as you like, so long as you aren't breaking or damaging company equipment.
