The foundation on your skin actually looks awesome. I’m fair too and I like the brightening effect of a very light foundation. But yeah that’s just my opinion. Your skin looks really angelic.

The too-light foundation and the kind of voluminous middle-parted, tied back hair was giving me Glenn Close in Dangerous Liaisons vibes for a second there and I was cracking up. Love your videos-they're always so much fun.

Thank you for demoing the new Glossier foundation. I actually saw that they'd expanded their shade range, but had a very hard time choosing a shade (to the point where I gave up). The ones that match the shade of my skin closest are all too yellow (Light 1-3). I totally agree that a foundation slightly lighter than your true skin tone will highlight dry spots and problem areas, but that shade actually looks pretty good on you for how light it is.

We’re usually shade twins and I have been using VL4 in the Glossier and it’s been a good match. 0:00 I thought I would be VL3 too but when I searched it in store it was WAY lighter than I thought. The jump between VL3 and VL4 is pretty big!

i’ve been using the haus labs concealer every day all over the face and skipping foundation. it is incredible! good coverage but skin like and light. plus the undertones are spot on, especially since i’m cool toned and the pink/rosy undertones work perfectly

I got a sample card of that glossier foundation and the fair shades seem to lean very pale. My perfect match was actually “light 1” and I’m never in the light category, always the fair one.

The Glossier foundation is so weird, they promote it as not sticking to dry patches and it was the worst foundation I've ever used for doing that. I got VL2 and its far too pale, they need to improve the website swatches and photography, its really hard to pick a shade.

I would love to see you use the Julep sticks more. Every time I look at makeup on Amazon, I’m bombarded by listings for them, and I’ve almost bought them so many times. I tried 2 shades of she glossier and neither worked. The colors are so odd! Also it ended up really settling into my lines and emphasizing all my dry patches! I thought it would be glowy and hydrating but it made my skin feel dry. 😢

So pretty and I love the blush combo on u also. I have been eyeing the Em cosmetics blush in the 2 more nude brown shades rococo and the other one. I have magic hour in that formula. I think the look turned out amazing even though u had technical difficulties with the base.

Obviously online I don’t see things as clearly as you do, but I think your look turned out beautiful. You definitely saved the foundation (maybe it oxidized a little too?). It makes me worried about my shade. I was going to order the light cool which is L4. It looks like it should be okay based on the pictures, but now I think I need to go into store and shade match. I’m usually your shade twin and I got Light 2. I usually use the same as Sofia sees Beauty and Kackie as well and I only went with that one because they did lol. Works well for me and I like it a bit on the darker than lighter side as well. ❤ thanks for the video, I’m sure you’ll make it work! (I haven’t finished the video yet lol)
