I just got this one and yesterday it lasted through a very hot and humid day. When I took off my makeup at the 12-hour mark it looked EXACTLY the same, zero fading at all and I had been very active and sweating in the humidity yesterday. SOOOOOO looking forward to your bronzer round-up video!

I recently got a bunch of Nars products from TJMaxx and Marshalls... love them all including the Nars cream bronzer and the Summer Solstice bronzer and highlighter. They are wonderful on my normal to dry 60 year old face. Also adore their eyeshadow and blush pallets...juicy and beautiful!

Ooohhhhh, this is NOT too warm!!! Not at all. This shade can definitely be used for contouring, which is what I do. I am looking forward to your video because I want to get a cream bronzer (which I will not use as a bronzer, lol 😆). I am looking for two dimensions: warmth (or lack thereof) and creaminess. I have the laguna cream from the limited release and it is by far my favorite cream bronzer (I have tried so many) to the point that I stopped using it because I didn't want to run out of it, but now that they have brought it back I am SO excited to pick up a backup! One that I don't know if you've reviewed before but that is very unique to other bronzers is the one from Tower28. What sets it apart from most other formulas is the finish because it actually has a very glowy finish due to the micro-sparkles in it. The sparkles don't actually show up after application but the effect is very radiant. I actually like it but I know that a lot of people prefer a matte bronzer and a matte bronzer is much more common on the market so I thought I'd point that one out for comparison.

so excited you reviewed this and are doing a mini cream bronzer round up!! i love the packaging on this one (sleek/minimal), but heard Saie blends even more easily. i prefer one that has a little more coolness in it so this may end up winning for me. ingredients/scent are definitely things to factor in tho! i’m light medium so debating btw Laguna 02 or Casino 03. you applied the color very naturally 😊 i have WA’s biscuit contour stick but it’s borderline too light for me. it shows up but not enough to create as much of a shadow in my cheeks. maybe bc it fades quickly on me?

I was so bummed when this QUICK like dropped 6 months ago for an LE edition and was GONE quick…. Imagine my surprise and delight including a variety of shades as the reg Laguna prob would of been to dark, the first release just had 2 shades being Laguna and the gold one I believe is the name NO casino was the darker shade so now having what 5 shades is awesome…. I quick like bought the Lag 1 and both fair, and Med in the CT formula hehe I’m def good for cream bronzers as I also got the famous Chanel cream, and the Patrick Ta as well so 6 cream bronzers I’m set for awhile

Hello Kimberly! It’s a tough call. I admit that I am fortunate in that I have a very neutral undertone so these things don’t necessarily go muddy or overly warm and orange on me. The Nars is very good but I also think you should look at Saie.

Wow, looks gorgeous!!! Bronzer make such a pleasant enhancement when we find the right one. I’m waiting for the roundup before I pick up one of the bronzers. This may be my favorite thus far. My only concern is the coconut oil. I certainly do not have sensitive skin or prone to breakouts but coconut oil is something that has the potential to cause problems. I remember when Marc Jacobs came out with this primer and setting spray that contained coconut oil, OMG, my skin erupted. Sometimes I would put a little coconut in my hair and if a smidge got on my forehead or sides of my face, breakout city. If I decide to get this one, I’ll have to proceed with caution🤣

It is a HUGE worry, Tracie. I totally agree. It's just...it's a KNOWN break out cause. And I feel like...it's like when I did my foundation round up...I personally loved the Chanel but could not rank it first because it had a floral scent and migraine sufferers would have been triggered. So, with this, wow, coconut oil? Eek. But I LOVE the bronzer and it's never made me break out...and yet....it's got Coconut oil. It's like recommending cake to someone on a diet. Bad analogy but you know what I mean.

It’s why I’m loving the Charlotte and Rose because I don’t have to put anything over them and they don’t feel sticky. But that’s totally Mario’s approach. And I guess that’s why his powder is multi toned. So it’s perfect to go over cream bronzer without getting too crazy.

Wanna hear something funny Rebecca? I am SO cool toned that I find many contours actually work best as bronzers on me. I would say formula wise, the new CT cream bronzer, Elf Putty Bronzers, WG Foundation, DM Balm Powder, Candy Paints from Half Caked, and RMS Buriti are some of my favorites. Yes, I have a LOT lol. But shade wise, I also love Fentys Amber and Butta Biscuit. So many good ones now even for my paper white skin 😂

I am looking forward to your video comparison. I am still thinking of getting the CT or the Rare Beauty stick. It would be lovely to see them all swatched and your opinion on ease of use. I am currently using CT powder in 2 Medium and the original Chanel Tan de Chanel. And I have the NARS Laguna Liquid Bronzer ... which is a bit different as it's bronzing drops.

Yes! Bronzing drops too. There’s so many liquid bronzers out there as well. Plus no possible way to get all the cream bronzers in. Yikes! It’s more of a task to round all these up than I’d anticipated. But I’m up for the job! Haha.

Thank you for this video! I'm surprised that the scent is only light and not overpoweringly 'heavenly' as most reviewers mentioned in last year's release. I wonder if Nars dialled down on the fragrance this year and if so, i might just be picking this up! I'm very keen in this bronzer and as bizarre as it sounds to me, I have not tried anything laguna thus far, despite being a fan of Nars. This might just be it! Could you please compare it to Fenty cream bronzer (in macchiato if you have that shade or any other shade), saie sunmelt bronzer, nudestix bondi bae, danessa myricks balm contour, patrick ta bronzer duo (mainly the contour shade), em cosmetics terra, westman atelier biscuit and makeup by mario's stick bronzer? I have most of these and am considering between nars and the last 3 sticks! Thank you so much :)

Hello Shaila! Thank you SO much for the wonderful suggestions! I am currently culling down my list. It's so tough. If I have TOO TOO many it's overwhelming and THEN leaving one or two out becomes MORE glaring, if that makes sense. So I'm trying to get a manageable list together. Your suggestions are very helpful!!! The scent is not as overpowering as I'd imagined but I tend to also open the product and leave it ready and waiting. Sometimes that helps. It also dissipates quickly but the scent IS there for those who get migraines, etc.

I tried Laguna powder bronzer because it came in the birthday kit, I think from Sephora. It's a great shade for me, and am thinking about the cream, for the longevity.

I do know what you mean by all of the bronzers because if you count some of the balms (like I got the Danessa Myericks in a darker color to use as a bronzer and now Mario came out with one and I’ve gotten some concealers in darker colors like the Lawless, which works great), I am inundated. I also love my Mario and Rare Beauty sticks and my ABH, SOL, and Chanel pots. I’m waiting for Chanel to come out with a medium shade in their summer Les Beiges collection too.

I wish I had skipped on that release too. Just not my thing. I put it away for winter. We’ll see if I feel any differently. I need to work on resisting the newest “new” thing that comes out!

@@rabbiroz3806 I think the Wayne as a foundation is good but the lightest to use as a concealer was a no go and the darker to use as a bronzer right before this literal onslaught of cream bronzers?! Ugh. The Jones Road WTFoundation was more aptly named than we’d all realized. Haha. Strange strange release. Kind of pretty but breaks me out now. There IS such a thing as OVER moisturizing. Strange release.

Thanks for mentioning the coconut oil, it’s a no go for me! I’ll get cystic acne from it. The bronzer looks great on you, though. Currently I have been using my Westman Atelier contour stick as a “brontour” and then top it w/ a touch of the hourglass powder bronzer.

Definitely looked lovelier WITH bronzer than without 👍 I tried 'a bronzer' years ago (Estee L I think), and it made my cheeks look 'dirty' which put me off using one since, but in hindsight I reckon I chose too deep a shade but now there is such a huge range of shades, I should try again!
