I had the same experiences when I flew to San Fran from Australia. It was my second time in the USA, it was a trip for my birthday and I got detained for an hour and a half in that little customs room 😅

Love this vlog, you and Jack are an awesome couple always bantering and enjoying life, the pizza looked delicious was it worth getting temporary detained for lol, I remember when my then husband came to the UK for the first time from Nigeria, the border control asked him why he was coming into the UK (we were married so he was joining me here) my ex husband answered "none of your business" lol, he then texted me irrate he was getting asked these questions, I said just answer them as he has the power to send you back, short time later he walks through the arrivals door lol

No it doesn't influncer trips are a way company's pay for advertising. Most brands have influencer trips including some drugstore it works out cheaper than paying for ads

I kind of agree, they must spend an extortionate amount on these events/travel and hotels costs, which ultimately, the customer pays for. Very little of the event or the lipstick was shown in the video so I'm not sure what the brand gets out of it.. 🤔

"Normal customers" can't provide the brand with advertising in exchange, which is what this is. Being mad at these brands because of it is like being mad that NARS only put billboards in major cities rather than putting a wee sign outside your house.
