How to make a polytron subwoofer an active subwoofer

This former Polytron 5.1 home theater subwoofer is active but the sound is still like an active speaker.. so how do you make the bass sound dominant..
And make the subwoofer like a simabada subwoofer and GMC or the like..or 2.1
The ingredients are quite easy as long as we know the pin out and input
I just added a 10 k resistor and a Mylar 224j capacitor, and it's enough to vibrate the contents of your room. Good luck
