Gods, I know what you mean! I have the novel at home and there's a lot of cringe-worthy stuff that makes it read like a fanfiction. Namely motorcycles, then this emphasis on Naruto and Sasuke (ugh), Orochimaru's part in all this (ehh cringe!!) and the epilogue with Naruto watching the fireworks with Sasuke (so stupid 😂 I don't see that happening). What I hated the most was the fact that Hinata was completely left out. I get that Naruto doesn't want to worry his family (which is in character), but to blatantly omit the fact that he's sick is too much. I'm glad you liked my version - I kinda needed to edit this to fix the canon 😂

The way the author handled the characters and invented events was so bad it's impossible to call this novel canon. The only thing that makes me feel better about it is that Kishimoto didn't write these novels. But your video is exactly how I wish Naruto Retsuden had been.

Also, I need to honest and truthfully with you, despite everything that happened in New Generations Series and that the new manga Boruto 2: Blue Vortex has already begun, Boruto is the real son of the Naruto and Hinata and he is 100% innocent, despite that his personality already changed. He has friends, family, hopes and dreams of his own, just like Sarada's goal to become Hokage. Kawaki is just a guy sealed Naruto and Hinata away in another dimension, stole everything that was rightfully Boruto's and framed him for a crime he didn't commit, after "a certain shinjutsu technique" happened. I know that Kawaki's under the impression to protect Naruto and all, but the truth is Kawaki is a liar, a thief and a traitorous fraud, and his plan to exterminate the Otsutsuki clan and eliminate Boruto will never work. Kawaki may not be evil, but he's no better than Mizuki or Madara Uchiha or Kaguya and Black Zetsu or Toneri or any other villain who intends to hurt and/or frame the innocent. So, despite the Vortex series already started, in the very future, there will be a chapter depicting a possible way to undo Ada's Omnipotence and restore everyone's memories of Boruto (which according to Itachi, every jutsu has a weakness), and there will also be a chapter depicting Naruto and Hinata being recused and brought back to the Shinobi World. And more importantly, Boruto will succeed in putting an end to his quarrel with Kawaki, proving everyone that he truly is Boruto Uzuamki the real son of the Seven Hokage, and get his life and his parents back once the manga is complete, because the one thing we all know about the Naruto and Boruto series, is that they will not get rid Naruto, along with Hinata, that easily.
