The resolve Jiraiya and Maito Dai on their final moments, is something so inspiring despite being in a hoping against hope situation. Unlike Minato who was squezzed between the sides of an overwhelming danger he did his Best to manage, but he and Kushina did their best, falling gracefully, acomplishing something greater at the cost of their very lives. It's as if justice couldnt prevail in Minato and Kushina s case and just fell short despite giving 1000% off their might in facing that situation. This type of stuff is why I really like Naruto. Yeah it's too many episodes, drags on too long, and pads everything out far far too long. It uses bad tropes and has bad episodes, but down under being just another tv show, it's something so deep that I think it makes everyone do a double take when they first see it. I find the show as a whole to be truly inspiring, especially Naruto himself: because the take away is it doesn't matter what hell you were born into, you can make whatever you want of it. Naruto had every disadvantage thrown at him over and over, but he never let it stop him from being caring. Even with no parents or brains, he still learned that love and kindness is all the truly matters. Even with an evil hate-filled demon within him, Naruto didn't let the bad hand fate dealt him stop him.

Let's also not forget that not only did Jiraiya know about Naruto's parentage, but also was the closest to revealing it to Naruto himself during their training together, though it was subtle and not quite there. He told Naruto that he looked like and therefore reminded him of Minato and taught him a jutsu that he used, namely the iconic Rasengan. Here's another cool thing, Jiraiya is taught by his students as well as his mentors, when Minato taught him the Rasengan or how Naruto's will brought him up in his final moments against Pain. "In learning, you will teach and in teaching, you will learn." While Jiraiya isn't my favorite character in Naruto, I respect him greatly and somewhat wish there was someone like him in my own life.

It makes me angry at times that Jiraiya couldn't see past what he considers failures. If anyone around him was hurt in Jiraiya's mind he thought he failed. Uncle Iroh had more balance but still took on a lot of the pain around him.

The fact that he rejected the Hokage title multiple times and instead it offered and entrusted that to someone he trusts i.e Minato and Tsunade goes to show how selfless and likeable the character he is. It's funny,by paper the plot and writing is extremely simple and even generic where anyone can write characters like Jiraya but what's so fascinating about that is HOW they are written and shown on screen and paper.

Seeing Naruto in pain of loosing someone he actually loved was sad to watch, but I didn't feel that attached to Jiraiya. He was a great guy but painted as silly and perverted like 90% of the time, and we didn't get to see his 2 year training bond with Naruto. I wish he had more screen time where he was serious and we got to know the man behind the jokes. I was more sad at how his death broke those who loved him than at his death itself. Nevertheless, his legacy and sacrifice will not be forgotten. RIP

While the Ending of Naruto and the way the war went lets much to be desired at the very least until pain was defeated the story was so powerful and so relatable.

Great video. Brought tears to my eyes. Indeed the Naruto world did become dark once Jiraiah passed.

Idk why people shit on nagato switching sides it makes perfect sense to me. Nagato believed the same teachings as jiraya but come to the conclusion humans simply could never come to understand each other without pain. Upon inflicting that pain on the leaf he asked naruto for his answer and while he didnt verbally give one at the the time his actions connected with nagato more than is let on. Nagato realizes through his conversation with naruto that humanity isnt doomed, there still is a chance for peace because his sibling student had figured it out without even knowing. To know pain and forgive the one who caused it brings peace, that theme is exactly what lead naruto through the war and into the future.

How deep you go under the surface and how much effort you put into these vids, you sir, are underrated.
