I just love the throwbacks to prior Naruto fights. Sasuke's chidori shuriken, shadow shuriken and rigged shuriken jutsu that he used against Itachi, the sneak attack from below that Naruto used against Neji, the transformed shuriken that Naruto and Sasuke used against Zabuza, the transformed rasenshuriken that Naruto used against Pain, and the Rinnegan switcheroo that Sasuke used against Madara.

Revisiting this in 2022 and just like when this first aired, I'm convinced that there is no greater anime fight than this one. It pays homage to the ENTIRE series and tells a story of exactly how much Naruto and Sasuke have grown to this point. It evokes memories of when they were training for the bells for the first time with Kakashi, and how they struggled to work together, to being the absolute UNIT of a duo they are today. I'll love this series and its characters forever!

@@mrstarnation4171 no it's entirely different chidori is manifestation of both shape and elementary change in chakra while rasengan is simply just shape manipulation of chakra but the reason why it's so strong is because it's ultimate form of shape manipulation in chakra and the reason chidori is weaker is because it's shape manipulation is not that high level and plus changing chakra into lightning element requires fair amount of concentration and large amount of chakra so making it strong enough to go up against the greatest form of shape manipulation in chakra is extremely difficult and thats why sasuke's chidori is weaker than naruto's rasengan.
