If you stopped before finishing the pain ark and hadn't saw the war ark yet then you are missing out on a LOT of high action high intensity situations and on a lot of advanced techniques and transformations that they do. I'd recommend finishing it. Especially since Naruto goes berserk on pain for something he does to a certain someone
