For the first time ever! :) All four Naruto: Clash of Ninja Nintendo Gamecube games have been translated into English text! :) The first two games being officially and professionally made for Naruto Clash of Ninja and Clash of Ninja 2! The next two games got an English fan-made translation, from Naruto Gekito Ninja Taisen 3 and 4, to Naruto Clash of Ninja 3 and Naruto Clash of Ninja 4! :)
I am playing a Naruto Gekito Ninja Taisen 3 English Fan-made Translation Mod for the Nintendo Gamecube on the Dolphin Emulator. The Naruto Clash of Ninja 3 English Fan-made Translation mod was created by ‪@Animeweep-q4t‬.
I am glad this English mod was created because I wanted to play this game in English text after seeing Naruto Gekito Ninja Taisen 4 get a fan-made English translation in 2020. Afterwards, Naruto GNT 4 became Naruto: Clash of Ninja 4 and now called Super Naruto Clash of Ninja 4.
I want to say big thanks to ‪@Animeweep-q4t‬ for making this and inputting English text for the main parts of the game! I first saw the English translation project in March 2024 and was surprised to see someone actual work on it for the Gamecube game! Not sure when you are going to update the English mod, but I created a time stamp below for the parts that are untranslated.
Untranslated Parts
1:37- Copyright text above the 2004 TOMY line.
1:53-2:11- The shop title text and the text beside the A button and the shop items.
2:27-2:41- Names in the Rankings section.
3:45-3:56- The Training Menu options and move list text.
5:20-5:30- Time Attack Text and match number text above the health bars.
7:05-7:10- Pause menu text and the yellow text and white text on the Bonus Money screen.
Extra Notes: Lodaingag word on the screen at 1:49 is spelled wrong, should be: Loading.
Combo hits text is seen as Combo his during gameplay when attacks are being landed. After winning the match at 6:18, the text says perfect, even though health damage was taken and It should say finish. After winning a round, I would suggest the text to say point, instead of finish during battle.
In addition, the mission title for some missions are not translated and I did look up a website called Imagetotext.info to use it. I uploaded the Mission PNG file and was able to extract the text and used Google translate to read the mission title in English. I also found a text remover website called Pixelcut online, removed the text from the PNG upload, but the image got blurry on the text sections. Not sure how you can translate the mission title text. Furthermore, the optional sprite images are good except for Inner Sakura's image (haha) because it is too transparent and I kept the original game character image instead.
Overall, thank you for translating Naruto GNT 3 to English into Naruto Clash of Ninja 3 and excited to play the Gamecube game!! Thanks again and enjoy the Labor Day holiday! :)
