I enjoy this game even now. The best of all of the Clash of Ninja and probably the most balanced roster of all the games. Sad the Sound Ninja Five never made it in, but Baki, Anko and Asuma were a plus. Don't underestimate Towa's jutsu. Weak character overall, but God help you if that jutsu hits you.

This game is basically a reskinned Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4, which was superior.

Imma Xehanort I feel a lot of the scene surrounding this game is based on strong purism over Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4. I can't really consider it superior to Revolution 2 (and a few other titles). Sure 4 has a bigger roster but compared to Revoultion 2, 4 feels very unpolished with some of the newer mechanics, but my biggest gripes are against 4's issues with namely sidestep dashing and combo cancelling. Cancelling is very loose in 4, where pretty much any attack that launches the opponent in mid-air can be cancelled. Revolution 2 really fixed this aspect after I tried moves with certain characters and saw which ones could and couldn't be cancelled. Gaara can even cancel his sand up+A attack when not facing the opponent and it seems that all characters must be grounded when attacking in order to combo cancel in the Revolution series. Sidestep dashing in Revolution 2 can properly place you behind the opponent. Also, if you aren't facing the opponent, sidestep dashing will immediately turn you around and advance you to the opponent's side, which in my opinion is rather useful, where in Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 this isn't the case.

Maybe someone can help me out here. So I have this game for the Wii. I look online for tips on how to unlock certain characters, and I'll see stuff like "beat Orochimaru's Story Mode" or something like that. The thing is, when I try to play "story mode", it's always the same and always ends with hitting Kabuto with Naruto's Rasengan. I can't seem to do anything other than this. I see things like "complete 1st, 2nd, 3rd mission with 50% mission completion". I don't understand this, as I complete the levels and move on. Can someone help me out here? How can I access these different parts of the game?

Just do the people's missions and have beaten the story mode. This link will tell you how many missions to complete or which specific ones (most of the time it'll just be a certain number of missions, not any specific one). www.gamefaqs.com/wii/946570-naruto-clash-of-ninja-revolution-2/cheats They should become unlocked after you finish however many missions you have to do. And the missions have nothing to do with the story mode, just go to 1 player game/mission list and start completing them. For example, to unlock Baki, it says you have to do 30% mission completion for Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari. There are 10 missions per character, so do three missions each and you'll unlock Baki. Also hint: the first two missions and the 8th and 9th missions are the easiest ones. If it requires 50% mission completion, do the first two and the last three and you'll have the easiest time.

you must choose Team Squad and not single when you choose to play against the Computer and then you choose Sasuke and Sasuke Second State and when you die you activate the curse mark ;) hope i helped you out buddy
