@dbz1283 Originally they kept her voicing goku with the same voice he had as a kid because Goku became a symbol of eternal youth in japan, also because she became VERY popular dubbing the original Dragonball. No one in japan imagine anyone else as the voice of Goku.

Naruto's English voice actor is a woman too. Timmy Turner's (Odd Parents) was also voiced by a woman. It's proably because the shows are done over a few years and a boy's voice would change too much, so women tend to voice younger male characters.

No, boys are, because it's harder for a man to make a believable boy's voice, and using a young actor is not that bright an idea if the show is expected to last long because when he starts to grow up the voice will also change. When the characters grow up the girl still has to do the voice because otherwise it would be too different, tho. :P

Cuz all humans were born sounding like female yet only guys' voice change significantly when hitting puberty. while its easy for females to fake male voices, its near impossible for the reverse to be done. trust me, if it's doable, it'd have been rather common by now...

@kimmokimmu she did do a young woman character in a 1971 anime named Ashita no joe: she have a very pretty female voice and her voice acting is superb, I think it was episode 69, The girl she plays wears a pink top and blue jeans, she pretty much appears 7 mins on the video, The video is uploaded at veoh, google it or search at veoh, search for (ashita no joe 69). As i have found, (I've only started to learn some Japanese) -Chan...would be used on the end of a little girls name, like Sakura-Chan. -San.....would be used for a (more) adult and less 'Cute' way, -Kun (I believe....please correct me if i'm wrong) is only used for boys, Naruto-Kun, and Sasuke-Kun, -Sama, is used in a respectful way (like when talking to royalty, or someone important) Gaara-Sama, Hime-Sama.......Got it? :D
