@@MsCCarolinee. Take this for example, lets say if Iruka sensai didn't love naruto and relate to him and instead hated him just like everyone else. Because of the hate could have for the nine tails because of how his parents died fighting it that hate can extend to naruto because he can't directly extend it to the tailed beast. Same can be said with others in the village who lost people in that attack with the nine tails. Or people just being straight up afraid of naruto thinking he would go out of control and kill everyone cause I mean there is a monster in him.

@@randomguyonyoutube7641 Adding to the villagers projecting their hate for the Nine-Tails on Naruto, there is also the fact that Naruto's origins were lost in translation to some. At the time a good number of the villagers didn't think Naruto was actually human, but the Nine Tails transformed into a human by Lord Fourth. (I believe this was Kishimoto's original conception of the character, and if one reads the first chapter, it appears things were going to be that way until Chapter 2 retcons Naruto to being a human carrying a demon.

The vision wasn't even a Genjutsu, it was just bloodlust. That means snake "lady" is immensely more menacing than Zabuza, that's why Sasuke got freaked out. He's the only of the three to accurately assess the situation and the power difference but that didn't help him cause he reacted to it wrongly. Naruto was every bit as useless and stupid but at least he had the excuse of not being able to assess his enemy's power. This isn't Genin, Chunin or even Jounin's level. They're mobilizing the Anbu, the special forces as a whole, for that single ninja. Zabuza couldn't even beat Kakashi alone.

I agree. I like Sakurah. Could she have been handled much bettter? Yes, definitely. She's a character who could have been great. But she is by no means terrible. I've read way worse. She definitely has some great moments. I understand the criticism, since I used to hate her when I was a kid. But I think she gets way more hate than necessary.

To be fair Sakura never fully develops. Even in Oart 2 she gets occasional bouts of usefulness then goes back to the sidelines, not to mention her continuing obsession over Sasuke despite what he becomes later

I've heard a fan's alternate version of the war arc having Naruto die from the Nine tails extraction, then Tsunade stepping in to give up her life to revive him. Then Sakura has to say goodbye to her teacher and basically step up to the plate. Only then would Sakura unleash her 100 healing jutsu. It'd be cool that the torch finally be passed on to the next legendary sanin, through team 7. But that's just me.

The "Sakura problem" can be summarized as "the author didn't feel like he knew how to write women. So ...he didn't." When the author makes the women awesome they ARE incredibly awesome, but he so rarely does in that the series and it tends to feel more slanted towards the male characters.

Micky is bad at empathizing with characters. It's not that Sasuke doesn't want help, it's that he doesn't want Naruto to be killed. Sasuke is obviously afraid of this enemy and thinks if Naruto were to join, he would be killed. So before he jumps in guns a blazing, Sasuke tries to save him by dissuading his intent.

Orochimaru quite literally installed the fear of death into Sasuke. He'd be insane not to be scared shitless after that. HxH should've been the meta of shounen anime but I think DBZ took the meta with flashiness and insane action sequences. If HxH had never made it to Netflix, it really would've become a forgotten anime. Gon and Killua have a very similar relationship as Naruto and Sasuke. You'll see more parallels.

Since you’ve watched way more by now, I’m sure you know this, but the story about the Nine Tails being sealed inside of Naruto is not a famous story. It’s a village secret that only the adults of the Leaf Village know about because they lived through it, whereas the children of the Leaf, and outsiders, don’t know because of the decree that was mentioned way back at the beginning of the story, that forbid anyone from even talking about it. The Third Hokage made that decree because he didn’t want the prejudices of the adults to be passed on to the children, and to protect Naruto from outsiders who may want to kidnap him to get the Nine Tails’ power.
