tribalism is and always will be a thing, fandoms fight hard to protect what they love, even when they are misguided in their feelings. One Piece doesnt NEED to be defended like that, it is the King of the Manga like Luffy will undoubtedly be King of the Pirates. the next generation is always inspired by the past generation, "Inherited Will" you could say. regardless of the toxicity in fandoms, the next generation of Mangaka are gonna be insane.

one thing i'd like to mention is the connection between the giant statues of the straw hats scattered across japan and Oda's giant donation to Kumamoto. On April 14th of 2016, Oda donated 800 million yen (as the video stated, around 7 million dollars) out of his own pocket for the reconstruction of Kumamoto, his hometown, after it had suffered 2 earthquakes. Once the town was rebuilt, the governor of Kumamoto decided to thank Oda's kindness by building large bronze statues of each of the straw hats as a big symbol of appreciation for Oda's "Kumamoto Revival Project" also!! One piece's sales has much skyrocketed since this video was made, as it's currently around 600 million copies - i THINK?? i don't remember exactly since I was checking both superman and one piece's sales so i might've gotten them mixed up 😭but in any case one piece is still incredibly close which i think is really cool to see!!

Don't mind the people preventing you or demeaning you about watching potential spoilers. As long as you are aware and still ok with watching spoilers, you can do and watch what you want 😊 In my experience (as a watcher who likes spoilers and rewatching stuff) One Piece is STILL good even knowing spoilers. Just don't regret it if you do.

my friend, one piece is so popular now that they even decided to make a remake. in 2025, a remake from the WEB studio that made the attack on the Titans will be released, plus season 2 will be released soon. One piece from Netflix just think about it. The second season of the anime adaptation from Netflix is coming out.

oh you'll get to learn more as the story moves along, the only thing we fans dunno about Devil Fruit after 1000+ eps is their origins, Oda just doesnt drop all the info at once, much like a magician not giving away all his secrets. gives you plenty of time to absorb stuff, kinda like how Kishimoto didnt get into Chakra Elements until Shippuden.

I don't think the things spoiled in this video were detrimental. I think the saddest thing you've been spoiled on is gear 5 but how could you not be tbh. Just don't look into what it is or how it works cause that is a HUGE spoiler. Obviously if there is a gear 5 then there is a gear 4, 3, etc. Just don't search it out at all. Also, you def want to catch up before it ends cause there is absolutely no way you will be able to avoid learning what the one piece is when it is revealed in the manga. So you want to get in before then.

yeah, not spoiling on Skypeia, but that arc was a slow burner, it's like a big incline on a rollercoaster, preparing you for the ride, but until you're done ascending, it's boring as hell ya know? then the drop happens and you get that thrill and adrenaline you were seeking, One Piece is no different, it has those inclines, but that's only to give the momentum required.

What exactly makes your comment more relevant than mine or someone else's? What are your expectations from sharing a globally available video on a public platform with comments open? If you aren't allowed to share what you think then why the hell are there comments in the first place? Just to spam "thanks for the video" like they do it in Japan under every Japanese video? Then KZbin should have named this feature as "praise" or "thank", and not "comment"... Comment - a verbal or written remark expressing an opinion or reaction. If our opinions in comments are irrelevant and he himself chooses what to do then maybe he should completely disable the comments? Oh, I wonder why youtubers say "let me guys know in the comments what you think" in their videos. Hmmm. The reason why I said he shouldn't watch any of these videos is because they are to get people into watching One Piece. But since you already watch they will simply spoil things and hinder his viewing experience. Even if you think that what being said will be forgotten right away it's will be a different experience than going completely blind. It's for his own good. One Piece is a world full of mystery and reveals such as existence of a location or someone's death are as shocking as they are to the main characters and are part of the journey. You're not supposed to see those things until they are coming and it's against the flow of how Oda wants to tell you his story. Not only youtubers ruin it for themselves with spoilers but also ruin it for the viewers of their reactions because you lose interest when your fav reactor already knows it's coming in some way. You watch reaction videos for their reactions, not "reactions".

As a writer and comic artist myself and a lover of manga and film, I actually like reading reviews and summaries first... and reading fanfics and watching side vids or analysis vids, and etc, before consuming the actual series/film (sometimes even spoilers because I ENJOY it). People can have different opinions than me and that's okay. MarcIzanagi is an adult, he can chose to listen or ignore comments all he wants.

I get watching like a video or two before you start a medium like a book movie or show, but when you’ve already begun watching it, it’s entirely pointless to start reading into more and more stuff that isnt the primary medium, especially when you’re like 20 episodes in. Youre just cheapening your experiencing and letting others tell you what you should think, before experiencing it raw by yourself. Its objectively the inferior way to experience anything. You can’t sit there and tell me someone telling you about a show is a better way of experiencing it, than watching it yourself. Its a valid way if experiencing it, sure, but is it a terrible way of experiencing it? Hell yes. As a writer/artist, you should know that.
