Yamato/tenzo isn't a clone, he's a kid who was experimented on with the hashirama cells, which are cloned cells of the first hokage. I think the translation into dub made him seem like a clone

Clone is a way of speech here. They know he is not a literal clone however that is how he is seen from a Shinobi's stand point. He is The Copy of Hashirama therefore he Isa clone. It's just a nickname basically.

Not the entire thing, but even the animal sub-plot is actually canon in this episode. In the manga it's just a few brief scenes of them moving the animals to safety and dealing with a hermaphroditic armadillo, but it IS canon that Naruto is being fooled into think he's doing some ecological mission while the serious plot moves along without him knowing.

the weapon Madara is carrying is called a Gunbai, it is basically a fan but it's made giant because of anime, Daimyos and priests carried it in old Japan but in modern times it is used by sumo referees and umpires the tag with the kunai was used by Orochimaru way back in OG Naruto too, it's not necessary for the resurrection but it does allow Kabuto to put Deidara under his command

@@justincain2702 I mean they’re both fans, but the Gunbai was more a Uchiwa for the higher class, the Gunbai was sometimes used to signal battle too unlike the Uchiwa which was used for simply cooling oneself

19:15 - Yamato was both. He was the result of an experiment, by Orochimaru, to clone the First Hokage and obviously was a partial success.

True, but I can understand the confusion when the show calls him a clone. By definition, it implies he shares all DNA with the first hokage, but that is clearly not the case. It's closer to say a little bit of the first Hokage's DNA got spliced into some embryo's DNA, creating Yamato, which is a far cry from cloning.

Someone tell their Naruto watchlist moderator to consider reassessing how these reactions are put out. The anime is already milking it (and will for the rest of this series) and normies riding that pace will just result to sparse content. Study other naruto reactors and see why they release like 2-3eps in one vid and why it makes sense. We dont need discussions for EACH episode honestly, not with Naruto anime 🤣

Also keep in mind that 80k vs 100k isnt that bad becuase madara said multiple times that zetzu is not a fighting type and more of a recon asset. So these 100 Clones of Zetzu arent that strong. But there will be more info in later episodes. Also in matters of Ohnoki i always say "Beware of an old man in a profession where men usually die young." ;) On the reanimation jutsu there will be much more info in later episodes. But yes usally the reanimated know all that happend before and can move freely but the Kunai with the tag allows the Jutsu Caster to control them and supress the Mind.

Yeah.. the fillers they added into every episode during this part of Naruto Shippuuden actually made me stop watching and just look for the animated fights since I read the manga before that. They did the filler arc from Naruto except they embedded it into the OG story of Shippuuden, thus making it infinitely more terrible. Good job! Because everyone just loved the hundreds of years of Naruto fillers smh
