bandai namco promotional reasons. he was one of the new characters in tekken 6 and the release of this game and tekken 6 was close. out of all the new characters, his motion capture style seemed to fit well and it was super exaggerated and anime-esque

Katsuhiro Harada (the lead director for the TEKKEN franchise) actually offered Kishimoto a costume / design for TEKKEN! Kishimoto sent Harada back a rough sketch back of said design before Harada could even discuss a contract 😂 Safe to say Kishimoto might be a fan of TEKKEN!

Now that Connections exists, Storm 1, 2 and Revelations seem to be the only games that are worth on their own while the others are copy pasted, and the new game has key moments of all the game's story reaction commands. Unless you have the Goku skin for Storm 3 on the old hardware i guess.

@@nc3743 graphics yes, but most of all the characters move left to right - 2D system. When the view stays that way, but the characters can walk away from the screen or toward the screen, it's 2.5D. 3D is when you can rotate the camera, like in Storm games
