This theme is a bit heartbreaking for me. Because this game came out 3 days after my best friend was killed in a car accident. We loved playing Naruto games, having played Storm 1 and the Clash of Ninja series. Although I was in college in another state, he was waiting for this game to come out, so we could play it when I got back home. Storm 2 may not be my favorite installment of the series, but it is the most emotional for me. (Edit) I happened to come back after 4 years of posting this comment, forgetting I did, and have seen all the wonderful support. Although it's been 13 years now since he died, words can't express how much I miss my best friend Mark. I know he would’ve liked Generations, 3, Revolution, and 4, as well as being hyped for Connections coming out soon. Regardless... thank you all for your kindness and support. sennin sky imo this is the 2nd worst storm game As much as I love this game it's true 1: It's SO EASY to spam in this game 2: You has to time your block perfectly to substitute which was a pain in the ass 3: If you substituted behind someone and used and ultimate it would 99% of the time hit as it's basically impossible to substitute ultimates 4: You couldn't grab or use ultimates on awakenings 5: You couldn't fight against minatos,guy or narutos awakenings as Minato and guys Chakra Dash was an instant teleport and NARUTOs Jutsu was impossible to dodge or block which combined with the substitution system in this game basically meant you won if you awakens as these characters There are many more but I cba writing it all out

GenericWhiteMale storm 2 might not exceed in the aspect of gameplay, however, what makes this game so worth playing is the fact that it’s story mode is so amazingly portrayed and the way they used quick time events in such a unique way is just phenomenal. The theme songs in this game are top notch. This game is one of those where you’d love to go back to after such a long time has passed. You have to keep in mind that this game was made in 2010. This game back then would be considered decent if not absolutely recommendable. To me this is the greatest storm game if you ignore it’s competitive side being “online”.

I remember sitting there with my brother who is 12 years older than me. I was 4 at the time and he was 16, my current age. I remember sitting on the floor trying to pick out one of all the characters that he unlocked and trying to beat him but he always managed to crush me. My sister and I would take turns trying to beat my brother but we weren't able to 😂. Just the memory of the soundtrack and turning on the PS3 to this game and listening to the theme as I waited for my brother to come back from uni. Now it's crazy because I'm all grown up and although I didn't have much experience with ultimate ninja storm 2 when it came out, I know that this theme was by far my favorite, and still is today.
