YOSHA! Just like all other Storm games, you can unlock all characters from RYO in VS Mode! Here's steps to do it.
1. Go to Free Battle.
2. Select V.S. Mode
3. Select 1P vs 2P
4. Select Single or Team Match (Your Choice).
5. Go to Battle Settings on the character select and turn the 1P handicap to max.
6. Select any character (I select Pain because he ultimate is fast).
7. Repeat again and again.
