The vanish clash get repetitive and annoying because it keep on happening like 10 or 15 times when you fight cpu at hardest difficulty. Ima be honest I regret spending 60 on the game .I love storm adding the new mechanic where u can combo off ground or into ult great step in the right direction aswell as second justsus hopefully it eventually goes to 4 with the mechanic of holding triangle square just how you can triangle circle .I like the concept of unblockable and super armor it just wasEnt done right . whats killing the game glitches like subsuitution bar not responding consistently and unfortunately is deciding matches , 4 th hokage teleporting rasengan and not being able to move out of it consistently so forces you to take the hit or waste a sub leading to spamming because it broken , sarada lighting shuriken extra hit and tracking , ashura rasangan doing extra hit , support , and chakra regain need to go back to storm 4 cooldown . All these things are easily fixable with a patch but there’s no sense of urgency . I think storm series are best naruto games ever released by far and the closet thing that really capturees that naruto feel bringing it to life same way budoki tenkichi Litteraly captures the essence of dbz .With that being said if the attitude their going put out the bare minimum and not genuially try to put the best product out it’s a cash grab . Storm 5 needs to be exclusively new gen roll back bring back clashes with random button sequence instead of button mashing , wall runnning , more stage destruction , and stage transition simlar to jump force instead of getting knock back in the ring like in storm once the invisible wall cracks there would be a small animation sequence where they transition to the nxt stage like danzo bridge if you break the invisible wall the nxt arena would be the water below the bridge which are both currently a map .

We have yet to see peak storm from 4 justsu 2 of which are a super armor / unblockable , justsu clashes , wall running , stage transition , more stage destruction it’s so many things they can do to improve the mechanics which is ard beloved and building on it .Nobody but a small minority wants a naruto 2d fighter people assume if naruto gets a 2d fighter it will automatically get sf6 treatment as wise as budget which isn’t true at all and when broken bond and storm 1 realesed at the same time everybody wanted storm it had way higher demand this is coming from a person who owned broken bond . Aside from vs battle mechanics broken bond free roam shitted on storm because the attention to detail . I like storm use of throwing clone and chakra dash but broken bond allowed different characters and their ability to interact with the environment making each one feel unique and fast travel mini game in broken bond . Both were great if only you could combine both thier free roam with a storm 2/3/4 type of story mode that would be the ideal naruto game . if they were to get the open world rpg route the only studio I trust to do it justice and really bring it to life is rocksteady/ activision if it’s single player story oriented but for online pvp open world rockstar people who made red dead and gta . If rockstar decides there done with red dead I would fasho trust them handling naruto online rpg/ pvp type game basically what shinobi striker should be . But that’s dosent mean storm should stop like I said you can have both projects get pushed idk why it’s black n white where it’s storm or this .

Bruh it was dead when it launched and had no relevant or tantalizing new content. Minor gameplay adjustments that break certain characters and online functionality completely broken on an entire console player base such as Xbox going the first month without being able to find matches( sure you could if you waited and retried for hours but in the normal Sense it was non functional) Combo routes. Are still just neutral , up and down which technically adds depth but it’s pretty basic tbh . The counter system seems broken. No Lars AlexSanderson The cutscene story epic fights have been neutered and they shortened the fights in some cases . Graphical upgrades and downgrades which is crazy . Didn’t add ALL story mode QTE BOSSES….. Voice overs sound lacking in Energy No private lobbies lmao Not every skin has been added so you know they are gonna resale them This is more like broken connections cuz this doesn’t feel like 5 or 6 games put into one and let’s not forget they had 4 ninja storm games even before ultimate and this doesn’t even carry over anything from those either. 20 years of the STORM series and well we get the most bare bones thing ever. Not even a theater mode or a mode to see things like promotional materials or old trailers or cutscenes Just nothing . I wonder if this was a last minute pitch or decision to create this game and I would also like to know why it wasn’t delayed for a game that’s supposed to be a celebration of sorts for the series…. Alright i'm be the one to say it. They were done with the series the minute storm 4 became a hit, they literally mentioned in a interview a few years ago that they had no plans trying to contuine the storm series until fans wanted them to make storm 5 for some reason even though they had no motivation to make another storm game. This is game is just a cash grab, its basically Naruto Storm Triolgy with a few extras modes and characters in the game, and a new boruto story, which isnt bad because the fix alot of the issuss with the preivous game boss battles in this game. But some parts of the game they didnt teally put effort in it like The online mode is not what it used to be, certain characters people wanted in this game are not even in the game that contribute to narutos and borutos story. Like i feel like thr gave up on thr series a while ago

Gameplay wise this looks a lot more competitive than 4. Less substitutions, more combo potential, rounds reset health bars and get up from knock downs being quick. I think a lot of people are willfully ignoring all the improvements just cause the rest of the game is rough at the moment. All it needs is a couple updates and it'll easily be better than 4 as far as competition goes.

The difference between dom and boro’s team is , Boro has to put in work for his damage because of damage scaling. Dom however does not , He bypasses damage scaling and the poison does all the work for him . There is a difference between broken and overpowered

Honestly, I believe they killed the storm franchise. Unless storm five is a return to form open world revitalization with strictly boruto characters… I can’t see storm making money anymore

Ngl, I only hopped on the series towards the end of Storm 4's life span and I had minimal experience with Storm 3 and Generations. As such, I was still pretty down for Connections, especially since I'm unironically a fan of Boruto. Seeing it's flaws, it's hasn't really changed my perception given that I went in with zero real expectations, owed to my lack of experience with the series. I still really wanna play the game for myself, but my sympathies go out to the ppl who've played these games for years and have had their spirits shattered by disappointment. Hope it gets better y'all.
