Thank you for the video! I am playing this game for the first time but i am a huge Naruto fan😁. I have 2 questions tho.. - when someone is using a sub, ive seen that you can lock on to them and keep following the combo anyway.. how do you do that? Because everytime my enemy uses a sub i end up punching the air😂 - and the second question, both you and the guy you were fighting did not use the awekening (or at least i didnt see it happen) is there a reason for that? I know that after awekening ends you will deal less damage but is there another reason behind the fact you guys did not use it? Thanks for the showcase! Even tho the game is out for a half year at least i will be visiting the channel for more tips🙏✌️

Do u have any tips on sub management because I always find myself wasting my subs and getting caught in combos

overall better movement is great a lot of people just stand and cast jutsu

I tend to be more aggressive when I have a sub lead and more careful when my subs are low. Doing things like jump guarding mid combo, having good movement, and using good defensive supports can help a lot when you're out of subs. Counters can also be good if you can predict your opponent but can be a little risky

@@xibladekidd Yea good defensive movement is great when you're out of subs. Double jumping then hopping backwards and using a counter when they dash you can work really well

@@christiancooks675 Counter is when you press R2 and square at the same time, the game's tutorial explains it too. And I go over a little bit of movement in the beginner's guide, but I don't have an advanced guide on it yet

tbh i think this game is way to punishing when you have no subs... yesterday i lost a match i had 1.5 healthbar lead, i was way better then my opponent but i had to sub that boruto support like 2 times so lost my subs and then the opponent just put me in a infinite combo taking that lead all in once..it's a bit to much in my opinion

In this game you have to respect support, so when you see that they have the Boruto support predict they're going to call it and either jump guard, backdash, or ninja move out of your combo then resume your pressure after they use up their support. Also use good support defensively to protect yourself when they try to close your health lead like that, a lot of people won't respect your support in this game. Counters can be good too if you can time them right without subs
