We already archived Naruto Rise of the Ninja which is a beloved Naruto game that only released on Xbox 360. But what many might not realise is that Rise of the Ninja actually had a sequel as well. It was once again created by Ubisoft and continued the story right where the first title left off. We play yet again as Naruto and friends as the Hidden Leaf Village is being rebuilt after the invasion of Orochimaru.
On our quest we will meet new fan favorites like Tsunade, Kabuto and of course Itachi. Rise of the Ninja definitely surprised me, so I was excited to see how the sequel would line up. Though it definitely still was a fun time, I do think the first game is better. There is a lot of filler in The Broken Bond which feels very repetitive and sometimes even a bit boring. The world also does not seem as interesting to explore; an aspect I loved in Rise of the Ninja. Some of the puzzles merely come down to finding the right switch or timing jumps. The platforming is unfortunately not tight enough to where this works all the time.
When the game follows the main plot of the manga and anime, its great, but there's just a lot of filler in between. I'm glad to have experienced and archived the Xbox 360 Naruto games so that these will not be lost to time itself.

Please Be Patient Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. -James 5:7 James is an extremely practical book. It takes the great truths of the Christian faith and then attaches a “so what?” afterward. We discover what these truths mean to us and how they affect our lives. And in chapter 5, James shares important principles regarding what we should be doing as believers who are waiting for the Lord’s return. He writes, “Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. You, too, must be patient. Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near” (verses 7-8) James tells us that the farmers wait for the early and latter rains. They also look eagerly, or expectantly, for the harvest to ripen. Farmers today use sophisticated technology. Not only do they have advanced irrigation systems, but they can take satellite photos of their property so they know which parts of their fields need more water and which parts have enough or maybe too much. They can harness this technology to harvest their crops. However, ancient farmers didn’t have modern irrigation systems. They depended completely on the rain to sustain their crops. They had to wait for the rain, and the early rains in Israel usually arrived in late October or early November. They softened the hard, baked soil for plowing. Then the latter rains came in late April and May. These were essential for the crops to mature. But if a farmer grew impatient and tried to harvest the seed before it was ready, he could uproot the entire process. He had to wait. No crop appears overnight, except a crop of weeds, of course. Isn’t it amazing how quickly weeds can grow? We will carefully nurture a little plant that we’re growing, and it might gain an inch or two over time. Meanwhile, the weeds have grown three feet high. They need no help whatsoever. If we want a good spiritual harvest in our lives, it takes time. We must be patient. And if we’re waiting for the return of Christ, we must be patient as well. Yet that is difficult to do in our on-demand culture of today. We don’t have to wait and save money to purchase something we want. We want it now. We feel that we deserve it, so we just charge it. But as we wait for the Lord’s return, we need to remember that God is not bound by our schedules. He has His own. The Bible tells us, “But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children” (Galatians 4:4-5) Jesus will come at the appointed time. And just as He came the first time at the appointed hour, He will come the second time in the same way..

this game is a fucking masterpiece! I remember beating Rise of a ninja, but never got to beat broken bond, i played the demo though many times and was pleased with the improvements in mechanics and smoothness! Amazing gameplay needs to be remastered for sure! Its a damn shame this game was thrown to the curb, the fighting system was more complex and satisfying than storm 4, storm gets repetitive after 3000 matches lmao, but I think Broken bond was onto something and had true next gen concepts for fighting games!

This is a complicated game and with not that much of content. Time pass and when you think of this it’s too much. Well this anime is either kind of complicated. You can’t buy all the Dvds box sets and you have to know which ones. I’ll only buy the end of the Shippuden serie. I make a gift to the failure thieves, they can keep the box set with Tsunade vs the raikage right before the great war. Sometimes you have to let things it is more beneficial.

Game looks terrible, ngl. The running animation is awkward and goofy looking, and the art is subpar at best. The fighting looks decent enough though. At the end of the day I think Naruto games like this with an open world are not as interesting as one would think. It sounds cool in theory, but then again the main appeal of Naruto and every shounen anime is the fighting. The only way to justify games like this is by adding what everyone hates: Filler content. It's better off being just a fighting game. I think the Naruto Ultimate Ninja games are a great series, including the Storm series.
