Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution | A Risky Decision - Review

What’s crazy is that I still play this fire 🔥 game!!! It was a fun hold over for storm 4 and my favorite Naruto game on ps3. Game play and team ultimates were so fire 🔥 at the time. Besides having to choose between which way you play the game with 3 options I thought everything else was great. I’m not the biggest story person so I also didn’t really mind.

I bought this game a few months after it came out and I loved the 4 player brawl thing. But I quit playing because they said I needed to talk to these 2 niggaz that asked weird questions I had to answer, for them to join my team. I didn't know the answer to the questions so I left that mode, which I thought was story mode, and tried to play the brawl in free mode and I couldn't, so I got mad and quit playing. 🤣 I JUST found out TODAY that Ninja World Tournament was not Story Mode, it's the 4 player brawl mode I was looking for. Ninja Escapades is Story Mode. So yeah, been playing this having fun now 🤣 What made me give it another try is that I was playing Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z 😅

I honestly think the brawl fight system was solid. If only there weren't traps around, big summonings, random ninjas about to put raiton up your arse, oh uh.. A MOTHERFRIGGIN LAVA BLOWING UP FROM THE GROUND, and if the AI didn't constantly target you a majority of the time i'd be happy to consider it my favorite game mode. From rank D - A were the fun parts. S and S+ are legit nightmares if you don't know what you're doing.

S Rank is a real ass in the tournament, it's like why would others get permanent awakening while you are just on your base form. Sure the combos are more limited in awakenings, but the amount of orbs taken from you is massive. It should be easier to do awakening and force ultimate justru too in there lol.

This was such a fun single player game. It was unique with a bunch of customization. You remind me how broken the counter was when first introduced it made for some good trash talking moments with friends when you had them dizzy so long.

Fire video and review bro💯🔥nice job but I disliked Revolution so much mostly the fact that they made us have to pick between if we wanted to use ultimate jutsu, awakening or that drive type that no one ever uses😹 the only thing I liked was the addition of some new characters like KCM2 Naruto, Shisui, Reanimated Minato and more but that ninja world tournament really disliked it even tho I finished it same as the Escapades mission stuff and I also loved the fact that it had blood splashes unlike Storm 4 that has some unnecessary explosions in a way those blood splashes made the game feel more realistic than Storm 4 but they ruined the game with making us choose ultimate jutsu or awakening but still a nice game tho. But glad Storm 4 came out😹

I own this game for the Xbox 360 but I sold my 360 years ago cause I figured they’d make all the storm games backwards compatible now I just have this game sitting on a shelf, makes me sad every time I see it

I didn't like the Style choosing but to be honest I mostly chose Ultimate style since only maby 20% of the roster had good enough awakenings we're I would choose that over ultimate

I think if both players agree to not use drive, ultimate type and counters the games the best one gameplay wise. Storm 4 imo is busted since most newer characters power crept old ones except for a few. Storm 3 is not balanced. I would say generations is overall the most balanced still and revolution with the agreement above in second place.

Divide awaken and ultimate is a fucked-up decision, it helps nothing but take away what player already have. And force 30 fps is killing my eye too. However it might be the last storm game which able to play as a gigantic boss ,no dash cut during team game, exclusive team ultimate, support-only charactor (kurenai and anko etc),and instant awakening. In my idea, instant awakening is strong and fun to use , but it will fastly deplete any other combo mechanic and make the game very boring if you spam it. Maybe we would still have a way to fix it, for example you no longer have alibity to turn off your instant awaken. Or there is a 2 second forced stun animation after turn off your instant awaken and a 15 second cool down after you turn it on again. In storm 4, charactor switch is fun, but it added various unfair techniques with charactor switching, like free jutsu and dash etc, in the early patch there is multiple game broken bugs with switching. Charactor switching grant you free dash in combo is also very over-powerd. And introduce of charactor switch mudered various support only charactors which is very very sad. And you can never kill your opponents' support anymore, the support charactor is invincible due to introduce of charactor switching mechanics, which is very annoying especially when combined with dash cut. It is killing the game.

I agree with your opinion in most of the subjects but honestly, for me Storm 1 will remain the most Unique one from the series and the closest to the anime itself because of the very dynamic gameplay features, my reasons: Intro of characters before the encounter, unique jutsus that didn't came back to the other Storm games, longer and diverse movesets for almost any character, Awakenings in Storm 1 have also Ultimate Jutsus, Jutsus Clashes and Wall Fighting... and I can go on and on to state it why Storm 1 gameplay was the most unique one from the Storm Series, just try to Imagine Storm 4 gameplay with Storm 1 gameplay features, In my opinion that will be the Perfect Storm game. The First Storm game has the most Unique gameplay features perspective and the particular presentation of the game was so ahead of it's time in my opinion, the only downside of the first Storm game was the very lacking Story Mode Interactions, and from Storm 3 the developers cut and shortned the movesets of characters, that's why I don't agree with their choices. (By the way, my favourite Storm games and I will put them in my personal order will be: 1.Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 and Generations. (these have my favourite vibe and charm of the anime itself because of the dynamic gameplay features) 2. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2( for the unique Story and some Unique Boss Battles and let's not forget that Iconic "Calm Before the Storm" OST from the Characters Selection Screen and many more diverse soundtracks) 3. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst (Because of the more well-rounded diverse Story Perspective and very epic Boss Battles and also the soundtrack "Outside Konoha" and others soundtracks as well) 4. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (mostly because of the unique option to change/switch between your characters team during the fight, this particular option mechanics should've been already in the game from the very first Storm game in my opinion) 5. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution (because of the abused and annoying Counter mechanic)
