​@@milenkovicsrdjanii3116 According to Kishimoto, walking away from Naruto after their fight brought to Sasuke a pain similar to having half of his body ripped from him, so had he successed in killing Naruto, I believe Sasuke would have probably died inside, become more miserable than ever, and become even more determined and obsessed in getting his revenge to make sure that he wouldn't have killed his best friend for nothing. But once Sasuke would have killed Itachi and discovered the truth about him, Sasuke would then become more lost in Darkness, in misery and ind hatred than he was in canon, because this time he would understood that killing Naruto in order to get more power to kill his brother was meaningless in the end. Sasuke already blamed Konoha for Itachi's death, so he would also blame them for Naruto's death at his own hands, if only to not let his own guilt eating him alive. I believe Hinata would become some kind of living legacy for Naruto, she would follow his nindo to death, and maybe his dream to become Hokage, or maybe Sakura would take upon this dream. But there's also the possibility that Hinata would try to avenge Naruto, she's a very pacifist character and doesn't like violence, but we already saw with Obito what the death of a loved one could do to someone's morals.
