Sage Naruto is much stronger compared to the pain arc and I think previous Hokage. Although I'm not sure of his standing compared to the previous Hokage. Base Naruto did well in Boruto-era fights, but Kabuto/Orochimaru are both wild cards. That Kabuto power-up makes me think that Orochimaru is a lot closer to Naruto now. I think Naruto takes it high difficulty. Makes me wonder were Kabuto, Kakashi, and Killer bee stand. I like to think they are relative to Naruto but I'm not certain.

Sage mode Naruto takes it with no difficulty. I think people underestimate just how big of a buff sage mode actually is. Naruto went from being weaker than the half of the Nine-Tails that was sealed within him, to being able to beat it in a fight.

I get that Orichmaru is much stronger, though to be fair. Naruto's sick correct? Sure he's not allowed to use Ninjutsu, but if he's actually sick Orichmaru's not even fighting a guy at 100% (Perfect health) even if he can't go 200% (Sage Mode) 300% (KCM) etc. Also those percents for those modes are just arbitrary for the sake of the point with the point being Naruto being sick is less than 100 by some degree.

Think it’s important to remember that Naruto wasn’t able to infuse any of his chakra like a normal shinobi would to enhance there normal stats aka taijustsu. Thus, Orochimaru would’ve won with minimal difficulty. If Naruto was able to infuse chakra but had to stay in his base mode, I think he would’ve won with mid to high difficulty

Orochimaru in the Boruto era is a monster, his life force is through the roof now possessing a white zetsu body that’s immortal, along with Karin’s life force and healing power, as well as the buff that comes from Hashirama’s cells, all the kekkei genkai of the sound 5, along with everything he already had, is insanity, Base Naruto couldn’t defeat him, even with access to chakra, and I’d argue that Orochimaru using everything he now has would boast a challenge to Toad Sage mode Naruto, however Naruto at his peak using 6PSM + KCM destroys orochimaru without much difficulty, it’s just an ungodly amount of raw power there and orochimaru for as modified as his body is and as crème of the crop as he gets, could never hope to stand against that, but right now in the series id be willing to put my money on orochimaru doing quite well if not taking him

Oooo that makes so much more sense y he thought he was a sage mode level threat, he already got wiped base to base, technically base naruto taijutsu vs base orochimaru no killing intent. if orochimaru really does have those upgrades he could immediately pop sage mode, u add on killing intent and naruto will deff need his sage mode plus his jutsu to combat him. Id argue once he starts incorporating the several kekai genkai with the sage mode amp they would get he becomes ksm 1 lvl. And then if u can infer he has absorbed a shin body due to his cloning research and technically has a mangekyou sharingan so he has sussano which also gets a sage mode amp, he could approach ksm 2 sage mode or even sage of 6 paths levels of power. And none of that includes edo tensei smh

Orochimaru is cracked, but yeah everything listed he has. That's why he was so quick to go over to Kabuto and absorb. Kabuto took bits of all those people chakra and put it into his body, Orochimaru stole it. So just as Kabuto used the sound 5 jutsu, so too can Orochimaru. Sage Mode Naruto is enough, but Orochimaru is cracked.

Ah i dont think its that impressive after you laid what these two are capable of in this instance, naruto is handicapped kinda like sasuke in the chunin exams using chakra would hurt him and he can only rely on taijustsu which has never been enough to stop orochimaru at any point in the series. Orochimaru has that zetsu body plus all those kekki genki he absorbed plus all these years of training and experimenting with his body this naruto never had a chance and he destroyed those polar particles. Naruto was right in using sage mode in gaiden as orochimaru is that guy.

If we truly talking post war arc Naruto vs Orochimaru in a 1 v 1, then Naruto is Losing. Even single time. It does not matter which category, Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Fuuinjutsu, Kinjutsu, Orochimaru is superior to Naruto in every one. It's why they cannot really use Orochimaru or Kabuto within Boruto, because they would actually win the fights, which eliminates need to the Kiddos to get stronger since the show is about them. Post war arc Orochimaru is just to damn OP to think about. There's a reason both him and Kabuto are considered Special War Powers and not Imprisoned or Executed. There's no prison that could hold them and Killing them is next impossible. I'm sorry, but Naruto is not beating Orochimaru as he is, not Alone!
