I really like the horn spiral technique. Thank you, Michael. I had asked to make marine style balloons at a conservancy aquarium in Albq. Sadly, they don't allow latex balloons as pieces can be misinterpreted as food should it land in one of the specimen tanks.

The "horn" of a narwal is actually a tooth. So, technically, it should be called a tusk, not a horn. I do love the technique for making it swirly, though.

I asked a balloon artist to show me how to do it, unfortunately, she told me this was a reel. The reel was too fast and she did not want to share the technic; felt bad. Thank you for showing us. It was easy and well explained. I am practicing.

You may want to invest in a pumper in that blowing balloons with your mouth (while unsanitary) can cause pulmonary talcosis- I do love the twisted trick though- thanks - great pattern
