First, I just appreciated the sound of the song, and then I focused on the lyrics. Nas again displayed GOAT lyricism. It's Nas' range that separates him from most lyricist. Most lyricists, even the "elite,' rhyme like they stuck in the matrix. Nas is the premier philosopher on the mic, always challenging us to think.
