What a great interview! I now have a greater respect for all of the Astronauts who complete the requirements!! In other words, you have to be very open minded, a team player, in addition to having incredible experience in a technical field!! I love it!! :)

When you qualify, know enough Russian to get by, does community service, and was a swimmer your whole life…..But you’ve been arrested bc a cop was upset that day.

She probably realized astronauts, while respectable, are underpaid for the qualities compared to what she does now; although not as important,and according to google earns $2M and he’s probably $200k+.. she’s probably doing okay
