It's fairly obvious a planet that's circumference has grown over time is a high chance of life. We know life over millions of years creates sediment around the planet and intelligent life builds and creates layers of History which then is covered over by sediment of buried so look for planets that have grown in size over millions of yrs and you will find life. We on earth are most likely not the only advanced race that's lived on this planet because over millions of years a Nuclear Armageddon will be impossible for future advanced species to detect we were even here. Humans will die out at some point and another will rise from the ashes.
