Looks like we're closer to the Dyson sphere than we know. Let's hope the collective unity of humanity can work together to achieve such a structure.

We have sent ONE small space probe to within 3 million miles of the sun... we are in NO way, shape or form anywhere CLOSE to being able to build millions (if not billions) of tons of structures, transport all of that to the sun only to then have to construct it all around the sun... To echo the previous reply... Delusion!! 😂😂😂

What has this to do with overpriced vacuum cleaners that don't work?

Why is he such a negative nelly? Actually, earth could become a Dyson sphere, and it doesn't have to harness the Sun's energy, it could generate energy from the magnetic and kinetic friction between rings. I've been working on miniature spheres magnetized, hovering on platforms, hollowed out so that each layer of the spheres iron crust became rings, even added miniature organic life, water, sand & ice making these spheres miniature worlds one day for purchase but the Dyson spheres are like mini eternal engines and on a grander scale this could make interstellar space travel possible. Inform yourself you, negative person.

@georgehenderson4112 I find it sad that you think you're in touch with reality so much that you dont have your own mind. You're just rehashing what science has taught you. Real science is about new theories, especially if it's hypothetical and not tested or proven. May my practical approach inspire and influence. We should be peer reviewing and collaborating, not making negative remarks.

It was four million miles from the surface, that's 16 times further than the distance from the earth to the moon. It's impressive but by no means unbelievable.

@@Dorgpoopand POINTLESS. Why not just aim a satellite directly into the sun to break such a record?
@Dorgpoop
@Dorgpoop 3 сағат бұрын
@@irqittuq415 They weren't trying to break a record, they were trying to get close to study the sun's corona, which is sort of like the sun's atmosphere. It's an important thing to research, because the sun regularly produces coronal mass ejections of radiation that, if strong enough, can damage electronics and potentially even harm our health through damaging the ozone layer.
