"Accretion and retention of bio-essential elements during Earth's catastrophic early history" presented by Marc Hirschmann
EXPANDING VIEWS ON THE EMERGENCE OF THE BIOSPHERE
The emergence of biosphere on Earth, and possibly elsewhere in the universe, remains one of the great unsolved scientific questions. Research into the origin and subsequent evolution of life takes place across an array of scientific disciplines, including but not limited to planetary sciences, astronomy, theoretical physics, chemistry and biology. The goal of the Symposium is to provide a forum for diverse perspectives and unify the fragmentary knowledge stemming from a single discipline.
Accordingly, the program features talks and discussions aimed at understanding the nature of life, constraints of habitability, early Earth environments, systems chemistry, structure and attributes of early life. The Symposium will gather eminent investigators as well as provide opportunities for early-career scientists to present their findings in a poster format and exchange ideas in discussion sessions.

I assume that since the universe is mostly H & He the relative proportions of the elements in a planetary body is a product of the type and size of the star(s) that went supernova to give rise to the accretion disc which formed the planetary system. Since the latter is the furnace in which the majority of the elements are formed. We must be able to do a delta on that and calculate the likely proportions of the elements in planetary systems? The mass of formed planets must also be a factor.
