Dr. Gergits compares what you can see with his naked eye versus what he can see with the scope.
Without the scope you can only see his septum and inferior turbinate and a little part of the middle turbinate.
However, with the scope Dr. Gergits can see much more. He can see the interior turbinate, the septum, the middle turbinate, the nasal cavity, the nasal pharynx, the soft pallet, and the eustachian tube.
With the scope we can see the full view of the nasal cavity. When necessary, Dr. Gergits and his team will ask patients if we can use the scope because it gives us a much better view so that we can appropriately treat the nasal and sinus conditions. It is an extra cost, but you can see in the video that it is worth it, and the pain didn’t show any pain. It is a quick in-office procedure that gives Dr. Gergits so much information on your first visit so that you can start feeling better quickly.
